  Absolutely horrible service cannot even call to get your balance I'm so stressed screaming at my phone. Would never recommend golden 1 of you use the phone. Really has many problems. So many. Very unprofessional

  Just sold my house and I’m carrying the note. I wanted to open a account golden one because the buyer has an account there and I thought it easy for him to make payments. I walked in with a $50,000 cashiers check and try to open a checking account. I was told I couldn’t. Was given a business card and said I can open one online.

  I had an account with Golden 1 20 years ago. I bought my first vehicle with a loan from them. I tried to get an account there now that I have moved back to California. They are very different. The new branch office is nice, but the customer service is terrible. The man that I dealt with was rude and dismissive. As a result, I now have an account with Redwood Credit Union.

  Great staff...if there was ever an issue it was handled quickly and professionally. Would like them to move closer to downtown though...
