  After 20 minutes dealing with phone/computerized questions and answers the computer hung up on me. All I want to do is set up automatic payment. Why is this difficult? I've already been through the online effort and after wasting a lot of time with entering my loan number etc, they tell me I have to call and I get nowhere. Maybe they are trying to collect late fees.

  GMFS agents, Neil Woodbury and Marcee Laliberte, were quick, responsive, and very professional. They really went the extra mile to get the loan finalized by closing – even when we asked to move the date up several weeks – they never balked at the task. They just buckled down and got it done. We really appreciated their effort, and highly recommend GMFS to anyone looking for a lender who is willing to go the extra mile for their customers.

  I have been a customer with GMFS for 5 years. They always treated me great, never had an issue with anything. Unfortunately ever since SLS took over I have had nothing, but issues. Payments being reported late, rude customer service, people showing up at my house unannounced. They need to get rid of SLS!

  I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with GMFS since my original mortgage company sold them my loan. The very short story is the loan was not processed correctly by GMFS when they received it and it created a significant shortage in my escrow account. Today is 12/13/13 and I have been dealing with this problem now since 9/9/13 with zero resolution. The bank I had my original loan through has provided everything needed to GMFS multiple times to clear this up and I just keep getting pushed back through their 'research' department and quite frankly keep getting the run around from their customer service team. (Which is a 3rd party company from what I understand) Despite always paying my mortgage payment early I am being punished for something that is out of my control. I have been hit with an escrow shortage payment since this has not been resolved. Every time I call I get someone new on the line and I have to go through the 90 day history of this issue. At this point, I have spent well over 40 hours of my time dealing with this with no end in site. I'm sure GMFS is great if you go into a local branch, but this experience has been just awful. Promptly after resolving this we will be refinancing to get away from this company as quickly as possible.

  I had the BEST mortgage banker ever...... Stephanie Chenevert. Stephanie answered any questions I had. Very knowledgeable about the process and the things i needed to do to to help with my credit. Stephanie was always positive with an encouraging attitude. Stephanie was the BEST hands down. I wouldn't want to go through this process again w/o her.
