2 months After turning in my lease for another one I received a credit report notice that I had a delinquent payment. When I checked my online account I had no delinquent payments. So I called the customer service line, which took an hour before I got a hold of someone, and I asked why they reported a delinquent payment. After getting put on hold for 15 minutes they returned and told me I had a unpaid property tax bill from my first lease, but he also verified that I was never notified of it and then apologized. But I still had to pay to report the account current. I tried paying but the online system does not let me make a payment on an account that shows to be paid in full. . My account still has a zero balance. I asked that they update my account balance but they have not done anything. I've asked that they remove the delinquent payment from my credit and bill me with the explanation of the charges. 9 months after and I'm still dealing with customer service issues. They want me to make property tax payments but don't send me a actual bill. Just a notification that I have to pay. And call center is no help when trying to reach someone about this. Only time they are attentive is when you owe them money.

My 84 year old mother worked for GMAC for over 25 years. The customer service of today would have never been accepted; she would have been fired for such incompetence and unprofessionalism. She paid off her vehicle lease and purchased the car the first of September. She has been waiting on the bill of sale and title in her name ever since. She made several calls and was promised the title. The title was sent to some dealership somewhere in Oklahoma; we live in Texas in the DFW area. She had to call the dealership herself to get it sent to her by FedEx. When it arrived, the bill of sale and title were both in the dealership's name. Now she is having to jump through hoops to get GM Financial's screw-up straightened out. She has now spoken with 8 different people trying to get a statement of fact so that she can go to the title office to get it changed into her name. They make the mess and she has to go through the stress, inconvenience and pain to clean it all up? She's 84, handicapped and she has to be the one to jump through the hoops to clean up their mess??? GM Financial is not the company it used to be where people take responsibility for their mistakes, fix their mistakes and provide quality customer service. All she wants is the bill of sale and the clear title to the car that she paid for. GM Financial had no problems cashing her check and cashing it fast.

We had a 4 year lease on an equinox and was not notified of a disposition fee at the time of the purchase. We paid the lease off early, were 4-6 thousand of miles under the limit, and returned the equinox in like new condition. I have been a Chevrolet customer my whole life and have owned 4 Chevrolet vehicles. When called about the disposition fee, I several times asked if there was a way to waive the fee and the representative said they could not but they could send my case to a manager. The last representative said that he could forward my case to a manager and that it could take up to a week to hear from someone. I never heard from anyone and found that my credit has been taking hits from GM Financial for non payment. I called today to resolve the issue and pay the fee only to find that one of the representatives put a cease and assist on the account and said that I refused to pay. This is a false statement and the person I spoke with today told me he could not help me because it is just speculation. I have been a loyal Chevrolet Customer since I have received my drivers license and have always paid my bills on time. I find it offensive that GM would treat their customers this way. This entire transaction between the the dealership, gm financial, and us as the customer has been a turn off and I do not intend on being a customer an longer. On top of all this I went to file a complaint of the company website and it would not let me submit the complaint.

Sent a 30 day deliquency notice to credit bureaus for a bill that 1) I never received, and 2) was only 4 days past due (of their own admission)! When called on it, they said it would take 30-45 days to rectify. It didn't take 30-45 days to report it. I've been leasing cars with GM since 1998. This will be the last time I use GM financial. Do yourself a favor and use your own bank!

They asked me to pay a fee the dealership is required to pay, and ruined my credit. I bought out my lease, and got penalized and treated poorly.

This company should be prosecuted for their financial behavior (THIEF'S). Terrible customer service! I would not give them any stars if Google would allow.
