  Updated after reading response: As I am a very organized person I went through every letter you sent me as I keep all of them in file, and I have the original paperwork that states “you as the lender may open an insurance policy for the vehicle without informing me” which is exactly what you did. My insurance company has contacted you multiple times and said this is a common issue with Glacier Hills. I will continue to contact regarding the issue, no need to lie. Feel free to call me anytime I know you have my information, I will be searching for another place for my loan. This is truly unethical. Used Glacier Hills for a car loan, had insurance with a provider and decided to switch providers because I found a better rate. Glacier Hills apparently did not like that and informed me they opened a policy in my behalf (a policy that costs triple what I am currently paying) and then decided to tack it onto my loan. Like are you kidding me, valid proof of new insurance had already been provided and taken care of and they didn’t like it and saw an opportunity to attempt to take advantage of me. I don’t like that… I have never missed a payment, been on top of everything, and never had any problems until this.

  Luke, you would have received three letters about needing to provide proof of insurance before we placed a policy on the vehicle. We have emailed you instructions on how to get proof of insurance provided so that this policy can be canceled and issue you a pro-rated refund.   I'm so pleased that you employee such kind hearted people. Carrie is very patient and helpful when I call in. She takes the time to help me and never tries to rush me off the phone. I just want to share with everyone how much she brightens my day when I talk to her. Thank you Carrie and thank you Glacier Hills for hiring such caring individuals!

  I just want to share with you the incredible experience I had with your employee that answers your phones. Her name is Cari (apologize on the spelling if it's not correct), I am not sure if is she is the head person there in the department but have had the pleasure of speaking with her numerous times and each time is better than the next. She takes the time to explain things to my elderly parents without getting frustrated. She always solves our issues and answers our questions, I really hope that she is recognized for her hard and committed work. I know that dealing with people's issues and being the front line to it all can't be easy, but you would never know it if she was irritated. Very kind, warm, understanding individual, I just wish I lived closer so I could meet her in person! Please, please make sure to appreciate this lady, she is one of the good ones!

  I do not normally post reviews on companies but felt that I had share my outstanding service that I received. Kerry took the time last week to go over my entire account history for the past 5 days so I could see where I was at. This might have been your protocol with everything going on, but her kindness and patience definitely sat with me. Every company should be so lucky to have a dedicated employee like her. I sure hope everyone there knows what an asset she is!!

  All I can say is LIFESAVER!!! I was literally getting off the plane and got a fraud alert and contacted the number and got no where with the individual. So I immediately called Glacier Hills and was relieved when Carrie answered and was able to help me get my card working again. I am on vacation and this would have been a nightmare! Thank you so much for helping me and being so prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. She is a gem :)

  Worked with Kelly Masnica to set up an auto loan for my daughter (it was my daughter's first car). Kelly was awesome. She helped simplify the process and made sure we understood all out options. Knowing our short purchasing window, Kelly also went out of her way to push our application along and secure our loan. Thanks Kelly and Glacier Hills!

  Nice credit union with nice people, but they recently updated and now their online portal doesn't work. Every phone number on their website I've tried to call gives me an "invalid number" message. Their contact email address is also invalid. So I can only really communicate in person, which is bad for me because I work first shift. If this isn't fixed fast me and several others will be switching to a different bank/credit union. *Edit* They were able to contact me, and after a while they were able to fix my issues. Thank you Tammy. Give her a raise. I like Glacier Hills for their customer service, so back to 5 stars.

  The branches and staff are great. When you get a loan you will deal with a call center and very difficult to get things done or accomplished. I decided to move my loans to another bank because of the poor customer service when it comes to loans. Also, they refused to refinance my loans and told me it would cost $30 to get a better rate but my payments would remain the same.. Update: Moving loans away from this CU because they not only updated their systems and made it more difficult to do business via mobile, but also started charging more fees for everything. I'm done with them.

  I just want to give a shout out to this place!! These wonderful ladies that deal with the brunt of everyone's issues have managed to keep their cool and remain to be pleasant regardless of what the situation is. Everytime I call, I get greeted with a sincere attitude and they deal with the issue at hand very professionally. I do seem to get the same person most of the time, I believe the name of the girl is Carrie, not sure if that is the correct spelling, but just phenomenal customer service!!!!
