      To be fair I had no problems with GUCU to begin with, I liked the account I had for around a year, better than BB&T with their excessive fees. Until the second branch was about to close. I started to not be able to make a deposit due to the ATM. I started going to the remaining branch and continued to have the same problem with the ATM. I tried mentioning the issue multiple times before closing my account & switching to another bank. Two days later I received the standard survey email from them that you get when you call customer service, saying I called two days before, when I had not done so. I haven't received my remaining balance via check as I requested yet, but it could still be on the way in the mail. *Edit to note: I have since received my remaining balance.

      Terrible customer service. When I call to ask a question about my account they aren’t the nicest, and they don’t give a clear answer. I have called 3 times. Make sure you know their rules before opening a bank account. I am switching and closing my account with them.

      I’ve heard good things about This credit union that I’ve even though about banking with them myself and refinancing my 3 cars with them. After I gave them a call and was holding on the phone for 30 minutes I decided I’ll rather take my business else where. I would love to bank with you guys but it’s extremely inefficient trying to get someone on the phone when other banks it’s quick and easy. I’m assuming because it’s a smaller bank.

      POOR SERVICE!!!!! Set in drive through for 30 minutes. Only had one person working the window with two lanes open and traffic backed out 6 plus cars per lane. Geesh Louise what happen to at least two people working the window. Terrible service.

      It's the bank my husband and myself uses but I have to say you get about 50/50 out of them. 50% good 50% bad. Even though they have helped us out a lot they have also caused us a lot of trouble. They lost my first Stimulus check the one everybody got a year ago also my other Stimulus check went to them but they claim they cant find them. Took me forever to get the 1st one straightened out. I am hopefully going to get it in about 90 more days. Smh! I don't know if I will ever see my other ones. I know ALL THE CHECKS went to them because the IRS told me the name of my bank and told me that is where my checks is before I even told them the name of the bank.

      Employee's gave me the dirtiest looks I've ever seen in my life. I waited forever to get service, and when i finally did, i was treated so poorly as if i we're burdening them or wasting there precious time.. i couldn't believe it. Truly one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life, and would strongly recommend going elsewhere! I just wish i could give them no stars at all!!

      Great bank! Always have competitive rates and the staff at both Dalton locations is always pleasant to deal with. Only negative is that they are closed on Saturday. Otherwise they would have gotten a 5 star rating.
