      So we made a payment yesterday with our bank account and then finally after on hold for almost 3 hours to make that payment we got someone to finally do their job and send us a docusign to where we can set up automatic payments to come out on the 20th of every month. Well woke up this morning and our account is negative a whole car payment because they debited our account again which they didn’t have permission to do because it was the 21st not the 20th. And now they want to say that they can’t give us the money back and only put it in the savings account with their company that we had no choice but to set up. Well that does us no good. So we will try one more time for them to give us our money back today or we have already spoken with an attorney to take them to court. Worst credit union ever to deal with for a car loan!!!!

      Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. Impossible to get in touch with a representative on the phone. You’ll stay on hold forever. Customer service sucks. I went into the bank to get a replacement debit card and it took over an hour, and there wasn’t a single other person in the bank.

      They added life insurance policy to my loan which I said I didn’t want but slipped it on the contract and I signed it. Guessing I should have read closer. Close to $300 taken without me ever knowing. Everything is also outdated with the app and transfers so not user friendly unless you go into a location for help. And hospitality is degrading.

      Was a great bank in the past but no more. First they discontinued Health Savings accounts with little notice. Then they refused to assist me in depositing a 2 party check despite my wife and I both being customers. You have lost my business now and don’t understand good customer service anymore

      Absolute worst customer service experience I have had in a long while. Can't get anyone at the branch to return my call after multiple left messages and emails. This includes the branch manager. Just trying to resolve a simple issue. Terrible customer service from the 1-800 number. I know this will not help with my issue, but at least it may help someone who is thinking of using the Credit Union. For anyone reading this, us Georgia Heritage or Geovista before using this Credit Union!

      I have never experienced such great service at any establishment as I have in this bank. Every teller I've encountered is always pleasant and smiling; they always initiate a conversation and remember who I am; even when I use the drive through. Just today, I had a wonderful talk regarding my costume which I'll be wearing tonight for my other job. I was very surprised that she cared enough to even ask about a Halloween costume!!! I come in to deposit my employers pay check in to his wife's account & every time they mention the family or tell me to tell them hello. Great Job to team that hires & trains this outstanding group of people.

      I went into the branch due to not being able to get a response via phone. I wanted to schedule a time to meet with a financial advisor. When I walked in, I was not greeted or assisted. A list was set up on the poduim to sign in. After standing there looking confused, I looked around for some assistance. The tellers were in their own conversation yet saw me but never acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. Was I to just put my name, number and say "Call me, I wish to schedule an appointment"? Frustrated and feeling unwelcomed I walked out. Clearly they had no interest in gaining my business. For the record I bank with Wells Fargo and have ALWAYS been greeted in the branch and receive excellent phone service.

      The ABSOLUTE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE... It took them 3 months to pay off our old loan when we refinanced! Meanwhile, we were making 2 car payments until they actually paid off the existing loan!! Loan officers will never return your calls or emails... Fortuneatly, we had the money to do pay both loans until they did their job properly or it would have ruined our credit!!!! Also, If you move and are no longer near a branch, then it is impossible to reach anyone. Again, loan officers will never return your emails or calls. When You call them, then you will get disconnected and hung up on Over and Over again... The online website never works properly.... Impossible just to get even close to satisfactory service here. Not worth saving by using this credit union because of all the stress they put you through. I suggest any other credit union besides this one. It was an abosolutely horrible experience working with this company. I did business with this company for 8 years. This was my 2nd vehicle financed with them. Also horrible experience.. After pay off of my 1st vehicle financed through them, I verified the correct mailing address, and then they sent my title 3-4 times to the wrong address! I am highly disappointed in Georgia’s Own Credit Union and will never use them again.

      I like the bank itself, but this branch is so slow, its like they never have more than 1 or 2 tellers working at a time, it always takes 30+ minutes wether you go inside or through the drive thru, there could be 1 person ahead of you and it will still take that long, today broke a new record, I sat in the drive through for over 40 minutes with only two ahead of me. Y’all.. please get more employees, this is crazy.

      Georgia’s Own Credit Union is by far THE worst bank in the industry. Apparently, when you close out your checking account with them, they don’t take kindly to that and send all of your other accounts with them to collections, and won’t discuss any information with you, even though you didn’t have a missed payment. What’s worse is that you made it a point to ask the teller that closed out your account, whether or not there would be any negative ramifications for doing so, and she assured you there would not be, and your other accounts would remain in tact. Absolute WORST bank ever. Do not bank here or open any accounts here.
