  As others mentioned, communication at this location is less than great. I applied for a Home Loan through the main Genisys Credit Union website (as I did with my previous home), someone called me from Plymouth about a week later and I confirmed all of my information over the phone. I was told I would hear back from the woman the next day..And that was a month ago. They pulled my credit history and never got back to me. I have since moved on to another source for my Home Loan due to lack of response or follow-up. Sad that a credit union that I do all of my banking with treats me and other customers they way they do.

  No wonder they have a 3 star rating! I have excellent credit and 💯 on time payment history and I applied for a debt consolidation loan and was denied for no good reason. I applied on 11.15.21 and didn't hear back from anyone so I finally called them on 11.23.21 for an update to be told my application was denied. At what point did they plan on telling me if at all? I will be transferring my car loan with them to a different credit union that wants my business and they will most likely approve my loan request! There's to many other credit Unions out there to put up with such poor Customer Service!!

  The staff is always super friendly and welcoming during my times I have visited the branch! And a super thank you so much to Ms. Kathleen for all the help with the application of my loan and helping me during a super stressful time! I seriously appreciate all the help!!

  They advertise a 1.99% rate on new auto loans. Even with A+ credit, you don't qualify. They did, however, say that they might be able to get a rate exception if we agreed to the GAP coverage on the auto loan. We had to actually call back and ask what the follow-up was- to learn that they would do 3.25%. Took my A+ credit score to Community Choice Credit Union the same afternoon and applied.They handed me a check made payable to the dealer- ALL IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR! Great rate too!

  I have been pleasantly surprised by the great customer service. Each time I have visited, I have been greeted and helped immediately. I haven't been a customer for long, but I hope nothing ever changes.

  Stay away from this bank. Terrible. Everyone is rude. No one Answers the phone. I bought a car with them 2 years ago because I got into some financial trouble they said would take care of me. They even sold me terrible warranty with the car that did not cover nothing. And she tried to argue with me that I didn’t buy it from the bank from the loan officer that sold it to me.So when the car broke down I got stuck paying it. Then they try to say I didn’t have no insurance on my vehicle and added more money on my loan without me knowing. So it made my payments go up. They don’t care here at all. Now I’m stuck paying for a car that barley works. They are scammers if you have an account with them I would watch everyday and check.

  This is by far the WORST Credit Union I have ever been affiliated with!!! Every customer service representative I have spoken to have been RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and UNINFORMED about the services, procedures and practices that their business provide. Not only were the customer service reps, (Heather & Chelsea) UNPROFESSIONAL, but the manager (Christine T.) was RUDE, CONDESCENDING and UNKNOWLEDGEABLE also, which explains why the reps have such HORRIBLE DISPOSITIONS!!! If you are able to bank elsewhere, I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO DO SO!!! I am currently pursuing other options to refinance my loan with another credit union or financial establishment!!!!

  Outstanding service and favorable loan rates. Time after time, Christine McCarley is there to help me navigate any issues. If find myself to be a high maintenance person. Christine always makes things 100% right for me.

  There are definitely better banking apps... but I am so happy with the customer service at the branch in Plymouth, Michigan, where I worked with Christine T. The dealership I got my car from TOTALLY botched all the paperwork (Gordon Chevrolet, can't recommend.. but that's another story) and Genisys totally saved me. They took care of everything and trusted my word over the dealership's. They totally stood up for me and had my back throughout the whole process. I will continue to bank with Genisys and will only go through them for loans etc. from now on!

  I initially got connected with Genisys through an auto loan, then later added a high yield interest bearing checking account (very good product). I've found the branch employees to be helpful and friendly, too, on the few occasions I've needed to visit one.
