  Guess you don't realize how bad things are until you have problems. I have money stolen out of my checking and off my credit card but can't seem to get help, absolutely ridiculous!!! I've spent hours on the phone and STILL have NOT spoke to anyone. My money has been missing almost 2 weeks!!!!!! I work hard for my money and should NOT have to make several calls just to speak with someone. Time to close out my accounts, loan, credit cards and go elsewhere. Would NOT recommend this credit union.

  Unfortunately our credit union merged with Genesys. First time I had to call for information the person was quite rude! I mean they have sent us so many letters we can barely keep up with anything and her response to my question was very much uncalled for I'm sure I'm not the only one to call and ask this same question. So maybe we just need to find somewhere else if this is kind of service we're going to get. We have been with the other credit union for many many years and I don't think we ever got talk to so rudely.

  Alyssa McCoy and Christine Taylor were so helpful, they went above and beyond to help me with an issue and I cant thank them enough. So glad I chose this credit union.

  Amanda got me into my dream car! They are very timely, their online banking and balance checking is easy and great! I'm driving a 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance now.

  Genesis is an excellent credit union. They had helped me rebuild my credit as well as refinance my existing car note with a major financial institution. I highly recommend Genesis credit Union. Amanda is great to work with.

  I cannot say enough great things about this Credit Union. I have been a member here for years because of the amazing service I get each and every time I have to go into a branch or call for something. Ms. Kathy was my go-to person before she retired - and now I work with Ms. Linda who has been equally as great - although anybody at the branch is willing to help - I always ask for Ms. Linda. She is a stickler for accuracy, privacy and policy - but isn't that what you want from somebody who is handling your money? I take comfort knowing she is working hard for me. I also visit the branch in Pontiac, on Woodward because it's close to my work and the company has a daily deposit relationship with this branch. Here is another great group of people who have helped me when I needed it. Even though the Woodward branch is closer for me, and they are nice people, too (see Marie here) I still prefer the welcoming feeling I get at the Ypsilanti branch - this was my original T&C branch for us old enough to remember them. The Genisys CEO Ms. Jackie - I've seen her at several community related events and she is as equally pleasant; just like her staff. I don't get to the branch(s) as much as I used to in the past because of advancing technology. If I need a loan, the documents are sent over via email and electronically signed with DocuSign. If I have a request to change an auto draft payment - I just call the branch. If I need to deposit a check, I take a picture of it and use the mobile app. Technology is great, convenient and I love it... but it will never take the place of the awesome customer service I receive when I visit a branch in person.   My Husband needed a form to be dropped off so that I could be added to his account the form was completely filled out all that was needed was my information which I brought.The representative Linda gave me such a hard time she called my husband twice at work to verify that he wanted me to be on the account even after verification she claims his signature was forged and then proceeded to tell me my ID could be a fake! I have accounts at two other banks that never give me any issues and all we have is a car loan here! Thank God that it's almost done because we WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN!!!

  I had a Conversation on the phone with Christine, i "felt" like she came across rude. She later reached back out to me over email and went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied although she didnt have to.Thats great customer service IMO. Ive been with Genysis for years and had nothing less than a great experience everytime
