  My fiancé and I did some research before getting pre-approved. Garden State Home Loans had the lowest interest rates and fees in the area, so we had to pick them. Joe Gervasi helped us get pre-approved. As a first-time homebuyer I had a million questions. Joe was very patient and always responded to phone calls and e-mails very promptly. I had heard horror stories and was so pleasantly surprised with our home buying experience. Everyone at GSHL was so nice and helpful. Everything got accomplished on time and closing was painless. We definitely recommend Garden State Home Loans. They made it so easy!

  I initially locked in with another lender but when my new construction was delayed and the lock expired, I gave Garden state home loans a shot. They were able to give me a very competitive rate and credit AND close in time, which was not easy since my deadline was very tight and underwriting had a lot of things to verify. Nevertheless Christopher and Michael kept me informed and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to close before my lease was up. I would definitely recommend them!

  From first contact to closing was very fast for a mortgage refinance. 2 days after the initial contact over the phone with my mortgage loan officer Michael Colella, I decided to proceed. From application to close was exactly 14 days. The team, also including loan processor Kate Costello, chaperoned me every step of the way through the mortgage refinance process. Overall, these guys were very responsive, supportive and transparent. The part I was most appreciative of was the online tools for document uploads and retrieval. Way better than sending documents via mail. I plan to keep Garden State Home Loans at hand for future financing needs.

  We’ve been trying to refinance our house for a while but we were so skeptical with the market and who to trust to get a better deal. GSHL was very helpful during the refi process. They took their time to explain everything. I don’t remember being rushed to sign anything. Finally, the most important thing was we got a great deal. We couldn’t have done it without them.
