  Absolutely ridiculous. We arrived to pick up our key at 2:42pm and the office staff told us (and the 20-30 other folks waiting) keys won’t be given out until 3pm precisely. Certainly wouldn’t want my guests being treated this way when I rented my house.

  Hi Christina, You spoke to Nicole at the front desk who explained we would start giving out keys at 2:45pm, as your lease starts at 3pm.   We arrived to One Joshua place on LBI on Saturday September 26 for a little off season vacation with family. In today’s world of COVID-19 we were shocked to see the horrible condition of this couch. First, it smelled of urine and the frame is broke in multiple places. We attempted to make contact with anyone that could help us. It wasn’t until this morning that someone got back to us. They sent someone to inspect and they suggested steam cleaning, but you can’t get rid of urine smell. This is absolutely disgusting as we have 2 young grandkids with asthma and it’s bothering them. Everything else about this property is great. Someone needs to be accountable to the poor condition of the couch, we can’t even sit on it. My next call is to the board of health.

Your agent was in contact with the lease holder (Stephanie) yesterday with some options to rectify the situation, including compensation. Unfortunately, we do not have the authority to purchase or discard of a client's furniture. If you need to vacate the property due to your grandchild's asthma, please let us know.
