  I have been a member for over 30 years, name changes and all, Tek-Ni-Kal, Central Macomb and now FreeStar Financial. I have seen the credit union grow and remain the same in some of their practices. It was great to have work with someone who understands and seen firsthand the challenges, successes and outcomes to achieve financial freedom when dealing with systemic obstacles. I would like to extend a hearty thank you and excellent customer service shout out to Adele Stallworth. I am fortunate to have asked and received stellar support from Adele, who represents the diversity of the members of the credit union. Over the last couple of years, Adele has both supported and helped me navigate the many hoops I had to jump through. Her knowledge, patience and words of encouragement allowed us collectively to stay the course to achieve my economic dreams. She is a 5-star member representative, loan officer and caring professional. Keep up the excellent work!

  They do not show u up to date account on line. Only shows up to last month. How r u supposed to know your exact balance or posted or not transactions?

  I've been banking with FreeStar for 25 years! This is a new location but I've always been taken care of. If I had any issues they would always be resolved. Over the past few years their edge above the competition has been deteriorating. Sad to say I'm leaving but it's a clear cut decision for me. Overall, they are decent banking institution.

  Was thinking about trying to get an account here since they are so close to where I live. I needed a roll a quarters for laundry and stopped in on my way home from Kroger and was turned away because I didn’t have an account. Welcome to the neighborhood and you will never see me again. Customer service at its finest for a roll of quarters the day before Thanksgiving

  The employees here are top notch. They go above and beyond for everyone and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They also do a lot to support the community and local businesses. You won’t be disappointed.

  I’m very glad I opened an account here, the girls are friendly and know what they are doing. It’s always decorated in the branch which is a nice friendly touch.

  Have been a member since 2010 and the service I received at this location is now the reason I will be closing my accounts. Go else where do not come to this location.
