      I have had Freedom Mortgage do my several refinances with no Problems, this recent refinance was a nightmare, my loan officer refuse to contact me at my alternate numbers, I almost lost my rate, due to lack of contact with my loan officer. I came very close going with another company.

      Everyone was so helpful. Everyone involved were clear and accurate with everything that was going. The only problem I had was the delay in closing. I had to cancel an appointment and it was hard to reschedule. I had made the appointment a year ago and the next available appointment that I could get was in 5 months. This did not make me happy.....

      Will refinanced with freedom over a year ago to get my ex wife off my mortgage go to close the second time (since the notary was sent to the wrong place). And my ex wife is on the paper work when I specify said my current wife was to be on it. Not even sure why my ex wife would even be on it. When I had refinanced to have her taken off and that was a bad experience as well.

      I started my process in May 2019 and completed Aug 2019, even though I agree I had some set backs, but I took care of them, asap but Freedom would not be available for a few days after I would have taken care of the issue. My Loan officer would be home alot or away from his desk alot or just not return my call for a few days, and his Boss would not return my calls either except one time, I began to think my Loan Officer was the only one that worked in that Dept. I don't want to mention names because I started to bond with him like a Son and would chatise him about his non-actions as far as responding to me in a timely manner and being away from desk and out of office so much. I got so stressed after about the 4th kick back of not crossing t's and dotting i's I contacted another mortgage co. and that seem to have speeded up the process. My signing went very smoothly at my home. Then I got my dates that I should receive my checks in mail, but when I called on the 5th of Aug to make sure, they didn't have the info at first but the title co. figured it out while I was on the phone so I will get them today Aug 7th. If I didn't call I don't know when someone would have checked on things. Then one of the bills that i'm waiting on checks for got behind for the 1st time so i'm hopeing they don't put that on my credit. It was a stressful experience, Thank God it's over.

      Total disorganization and lack of customer support. Nobody replies back to emails or calls. It took 5 attempts to close out the refi and all for a simple spouse name revision. I may have to deal with Freedom Mortgage for now but for the next refi, I think I will just pay the money and go with someone else.

      The re-fi offer was substantially lower than the low rate we already had and everything was done in less than a month. A bit too much "redundancy" in the final paperwork, but otherwise a very swift process from start to finish with constant updates throughout.

      No one returned our calls. We were scheduled to close in November 2019 and found put at the end of the month that not only would we not close we had to make a rushed payment which resulted in a late. We were scheduled to close on Dec 12th 2019 we did Well we thought we did. Found out on January 10th 2020 that theoan did not fund and we had to make a December payment which again resulted in a late. Scheduled to close in January nope found out at the end we wouldn't close in time and had to make another rushed payment. Finally we closed on February 24th. I asked for the lates to be removed and Freedom said no. Worst experience ever. A nightmare. Never would I ever recommend this company.

      Once someone got their part done (I guess) I never heard from them again, I would just have to wait a few days till the next person in the process contacted me. This is my only complaint... just felt like maybe they could have said, hey, the next contact will be from someone from this or that department. Otherwise everything went smoothly and everyone was very nice and informative.

      The refinanced process from Freedom Mortgage was done well, they were my current VA loan holders. This refinanced has saved me approx. $900 per year, easy to accomplished.

      We ended up closing a few weeks later than the original projection date and I had to constantly call to get info because my emails weren't being answered or they were being answered with wrong information. I kept stating that all I wanted was to be kept in the loop so that I can continue to plan things. Doesn't seem like a hard request to accommodate. Communication is key, and the correct information is important
