  This company is just as good as their logo - TERRIBLE. Because of them not doing their job correctly my friends mortgage is going up significantly. It’s both embarrassing and worrisome that we have companies like this handling settlements. I do not recommend this place for experienced home buyers nonetheless first time home buyers. STAY AWAY!!

  I had the pleasure of dealing with Sheila and her field rep. They were both very professional and easy to speak to. Sheila went above and beyond to explain the taxes and escrow accounts which was very confusing at first. She made sure to take the time to explain and verify I understood. I would highly recommend this firm for your closing.

  I've dealt with my share of horrendously-run businesses, but Foundation Title in Roseland takes the cake. I only have experience this this particular office, so can't speak to other locations. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as I understand that it is a busy time that we're in, but it's truly no excuse. There is just simply no reason to have unanswered emails, phone calls or for them to not mail things out in a timely manner (or in our case not at all!). I'd stay far away from this business if at all possible. Unfortunately this was the "preferred" title company for our seller's realtor, so we were really stuck. The person we worked with was Milagros or Mili. The office etiquette also seemed a bit toxic and unorganized. But, I think in this case, Foundation Title is using Covid-19 as an excuse for a poorly run business. Also dba Tobais Title Agency LLC. ****UPDATE 1/27/2021 I have since been contacted after my terrible experience by senior management insisting that your company was "the best in the business" and that because you are so big and do so many closings, that there are so rarely problems - that mine must have been something "seriously out of the norm". The senior officer spoke over me in an intimidating matter and did not make me feel like my business was important to them since they're "So Big". I have since had two continued issues that are just basic business practices that I would expect such a superiorly competent company to take care of. 1. Our insurance company never got the check for 1 year of home owners insurance from closing. Foundation Title then told us after multiple calls that they would re-issue the check and send it to us at our address, but they never did that either. So we ended up going to the office to pick up the check ourselves and risking our own health during Covid-19. 2. We are now looking for the final tax bill to file our taxes, and realized the property is still under the old owners name at the town and county level (3 months late). SO we reached out to our attorney who thought everything was in order, yet we found that Foundation Title Company once again messed up and has not filed properly until we called them out on it. My attorney said this is consistent with all of the dealings he's had with Foundation Title. Again, this truly is the opposite of what Senior Management told me when they loudly spoke over me on the phone saying your company was "the best in the business" and that because you are so big and do so many closings, that there are so rarely problems - that mine must have been something "seriously out of the norm". It's absolutely shameful that we have to continue to wreak the havoc of this terribly unorganized company after our first bad experience at closing. Hopefully someone will take me seriously this time around? **************************************************************

  I am leaving this review on behalf of a friend. She is now in a financial hardship due to this company’s negligence. She has been in contact with this company regarding their negligence and they have done nothing to help her. Anyone considering hiring this company should take a look at the reviews before working with this company. Based on some of the reviews, my friend isn’t the only one who was let down by this company.

  I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone! Not first time buyers not experienced buyers, no one! They are irresponsible, unprofessional, unsympathetic and ridiculous! *update* I wouldn’t be surprised if you couldn’t find my name in your system due to how unprofessional and irresponsible your staff has proven to be, I’m also l leaving this review due to the absolute lack of decency and accountability your company has showed my friend during the time she has been working with your company for the purchase of her home
