So far so good. Just recently opened an account so that I can use Lyft when there's inclement weather, car in shop, etc. I DO have to say I was taken back by the benefits and very reasonable checking account requirements. Where was this bank when I needed it ages ago? Better late than never though. I've used other credit unions before and never did any of them cater to your average, hard working consumer like this one does. Keep it up please.

      Response from the owner

Worse bank we have ever done business with. We bought airplane tickets and company wouldn't let us board (non covid related) and when we called to dispute. Bank would do nothing to get our money back!! When in to talk to manager and she said we were pretty much on our own to get our money back.

      Response from the owner

Hi Daisy, thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and have investigated further into this. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. (817)-835-5000

Been going to this bank for YEARS! Ms Monica helps me most of the time! She’s great, quick, and helpful! The entire staff, no matter who you deal with, is arguably the best staff I’ve dealt with! That’s why I’ve been a member for over 12 years

      Response from the owner

Hi Dominic, thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you have enjoyed your experience with us even after all these year! We appreciate your long-standing membership and look forward to continuing doing business with you.

I would NOT recommend this Fort Worth Credit Union to anyone. I went on valentines day for a car loan/lease buy out and banker basically talked me out of getting a loan? She also mentioned they close at 6 and most of it can be done online. I did NOT appreciate this type of customer service. I will not name her as I am not that type of person. I don’t normally leave bad reviews. I went to EECU Credit Union and they were happy to assist me. Do yourself a favor and go to EECU instead or other places but not this one.

      Response from the owner

Although this situation is currently being handled, I just wanted to let those that are considering opening an account here or anything regarding your account to avoid dealing with Marsey Flatt and because this happened in public, I think a public post is necessary. In the midst of everything going on across the nation, I was informed of an issue that occurred with my personal/account information that could lead to identity theft and requested a set of new account numbers to prevent such activity. I provided her with the authentic letter that I received detailing this and was instructed to do exactly what I arrived into the branch to do, which was take every necessary precaution. She told me that I would have to wait for my account to be used before taking the preventative measures, asinine I know lol. When I then tried to tell that I was told to do so, she was dismissive and disrespectful even to the point of being dishonest about the seniority of my account. I have been here for years, but she insisted that I wasn’t. After giving countless excuses as to why she would not do what I politely requested, she threatened me and said that she would call the police. Yes, she called the police on ME because I wanted to ensure that no more of my information would be stolen. Even the police understood my concern and long story short, everything was handled in less than 5 minutes, but she wanted to be clearly discriminatory as if me requesting to protect my account was somehow an issue to involve the police. Never thought this type of issue would happen to me despite seeing it happen all across the world, but thank you to Marsey Flatt for helping me to take off my rose colored glasses. I would never work with her again and would not mind driving to another location to ensure just that. I shouldn’t have to be threaten with police involvement due to a issue on their behalf.

I have had the best service with Terri Boop the manager. We have gotten so many car loans and have savings, roth IRA's and checking with this bank. She is the great. You can always rely on her if there are any problems or questions. I love this bank!!

      Response from the owner

Thanks Marlene for the review! We look forward to continuing to serve you and your family.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in a bank! The "floating" manager Velda Shultz was extremely rude and disrespectful to me when my husband and I went into the location to address an issue regarding their teller Charlene refusing to deposit my husbands work check. I had contacted their customer service line and spoke to another manager at the Burleson branch and she said that she and her branch would accept the check seeing as we are longtime bank customers and this is a weekly deposit from the same company. When I was trying to explain this to Velda all she did was crack her neck at me and get an attitude I was completely taken aback by her demeanor and response to me.. we have already found another bank and will be closing our account! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH! Nothing but rude people that work here!
