  Recently to due family illness I went to Fort Jewelry & Loans with my jewelry, to help with expenses... You couldn’t meet a nicer group of men who look at the merchandise with a true honesty and loan you the greater value!!! I feel safe with using there App. To look and check up on my payments and see the jewelry I’ve taken a loan on... Their App is State of the Art it has many avenues to shop , check on merchandise and so much more!!!! If you have any questions they actually spend the time answering and providing Thorough answers.... Call 📞 they can help!!!

  I received a loan back in January for my windows 10 laptop and was due to pay it back in April. When I tell you these guys held on to my laptop two months past due without hearing a trace from me to even know what I’ve been going through these few months. I was able to get it back today and I’m forever grateful as this laptop contained a studio software that’s very important to me. Great group of guys man! Thanks again for everything!

  Great place fantastic selection I've had Max their Jeweler fixed several of my gold chains he does a tremendous job every time fair prices too can't beat it strongly recommend

  Very awful customer service the old man behind the glass simply doesn’t know what he’s doing / talking about i went to a different pawn shop and was help with zero issues won’t ever step foot into this store again!

  I think you are the person who brought in the lab grown Diamond. We use the most Sophisticated equipment that determines whether a Diamond is natural/mined or grown in a lab. We do this because the value is vastly different and that’s why you don’t get the mall stores giving 100% of the purchase price on trade up. They generally won’t even take them back. Other stores may not invest in their business like we do and perhaps they don’t care to know or inform their customers on exactly what they are paying for. I guess being the oldest and largest Pawnshop in the area has afforded us the opportunity to set the bar for merchandise higher than some of the start ups. The added bonus of being selective on what we pawn is it does tend to weed out more than the less desirable merchandise. What most people who read reviews will notice is, that the customers we do business with leave 5 star reviews.

  He was very rude over talking me I need some cash for this tv then he tells me it must have legs I can’t take it it’s how he said it I will never go there again

  The store policy is that we don’t take TV’s without the legs. We also don’t take older TV’s with a thick border around the screen. This is so we can safely store them plus have product in pawn with market value. You were both argumentative and wouldn’t take no for an answer. You even called after leaving trying to be clever by probing and asking if we would take a tv without the legs. We were very professional with how we explained our policy but you are looking to Google reviews to lash out. I think most people will see your review and our response, only to determine your looking to blame others for your predicament. So in summary, you left a bad review because we wouldn’t take an item that was missing parts.

  It‘s a nice clean facility. The owner Hugh was nice, very attentive and helpful. He helped me find exactly what I needed. He is also very knowledgeable about the items in his shop.

  Swapped out my CENTER diamond ( not a tiny) chip!!! Slightly smaller and dirty! My center diamond was bright and beautiful. Glad we have the certs and picture before ring went in for the tiny chip repair. Weird huh??!! I have been told since that ALMOST all pawn shops will do this.

  She has now changed her story from “a Diamond” to “my center Diamond”. I think the inconsistency should be a red flag on the authenticity of her story. She first questioned whether we did the repairs on-site before even coming in. She brought in a ring missing a Diamond, NOT, one out of the 7 stone cluster of center stones but rather a single one point (.01C) that was in a halo around the center cluster. Jeweler replaced the missing stone and refinished the ring for the total sum of $20. That should give an idea of the stone that needed to be replaced. She said nothing about the repair or stone when picking up the ring and expressed no displeasure whatsoever. If she wasn’t happy, a reasonable person or mature adult would have expressed there concerns at the time of receiving the finished repair and before leaving the store. She could have said “I don’t think the Diamond is as good a match as I had expected, could we try to find another stone?” We got no complaints at all but she later posted this review with a false claim of switching stones. Seriously? Then claiming she was told almost all pawnshops do that. I have never done that and don’t think it would be all that likely. If she was so concerned she could have watched the jeweler do his repair. His bench is out in the open for all to watch. It is somewhat humorous that we get a one star review and accused of switching stones on the little $20 repair and not a big job. Whether in-patient or out-patient I hope she gets the help she needs.

  I love these guys from the moment I walked into the shop until today. I find them to be professional, fair and trustworthy YES I said trustworthy. It's hard to go into a pawnshop when you're desperate but they were respectful and loaned me the money I needed in an emergency situation. So, if you need a place to pawn or obtain a loan, I definitely recommend this establishment for all your business needs not just a pawnshop.

  I have been doing business with Fort Jewelry and Loans for at least a decade and have always been very satisfied with the service and found their pricing to be very fair, too. The gentlemen who work there are very nice, and treat their customers with respect and dignity. They have patiently answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. I like the new location, too--very roomy with a bigger selection of jewelry! If you need a loan I recommend them highly! Thank you for the great service.

  We strive to only get better at making doing business with us a positive experience. Certainly the new building has really help out in that regard. Hard to believe it's been almost two years at 2106 Fort Street.
