  The Karen at this place truly has the perfect name, she is exactly the typical Karen. Definitely avoid this place if you value your money or want any sort of customer service. Horrible experience here.

  This place used to be a friendly, neighborhood bank I used to enjoy going to. But for 5 years it has been in such a decline. I would never bank here again. I recommend going to another a bank. Rude incompetent, management.

  We have been with State Bank of Illinois for 25 years and have always been treated like we matter. We have never had a problem with the Bank and everyone we have dealt with has been pleasant and extremely helpful. We wouldn't think of going to another Bank.

  The South Elgin branch lost records of a $1000 CD and now refuse to honor it. After showing them the original CD they say it doesn't exist in their records and will not honor! Do not use this bank

  I banked here for years and the people have always been extra helpful and nice. I will say the hours kind of suck but what can do since it's a bank.
