  That older puertorican guy really knows his stuff! I went in there to ask about getting a loan on an older Rolex watch I had and he told me everything about it right off the top of his head. I went to other pawn shops and they had me waiting while they were looking up the info. He ended up giving me $400 more than any of the other places I went to. Apparently, he knew what it was really worth.

  The quality of the jewelry Surpasses any other retail shop that I’ve been to. The owner and business associate are very kind and never show frustration no matter how many rings I ask to try on!! Thank you for running a friendly and fair establishment.

  My experience here was nothing short of great. First experience in a pawn shop and the owner truly values his customers' experiences. He was able to explain each piece of jewelry to help me understand the worth of some over the other. Definitely a professional and knows his stuff. There were a few people lurking the store who had been giving him trouble earlier in the day and he handled the situation in a respectable way which made me more inclined to come back.

  Called to see what they would offer me for an xbox one x... the system is only 4 months old and I just don't have time to play it anymore. I know these systems in and out and also know what they sell for. Granted, working with pawn shops I know you are looking at wholesale value as opposed to retail. I did my homework before calling and knew Ebay was selling a similar system for around $400. I called and told the person I didn't want to waste their time or mine and wanted a fair offer for a loan. He asked what I wanted for it. Naturally I came back with not what I wanted, but what they sell for. He immediately told me that if I was looking for $350-$400 that I would be better off selling it through a private party. I reiterated to him that I wasn't trying to ask for $350-400 but simply telling them what they are worth. I followed that up with asking what he would give me for it. His response, I wouldn't want to insult you. After about 5 minutes of back and forth, he finally told me he would give me $70 for it. Naturally the conversation ended shortly after. However I did reach out to one of his competitors in Villa Park following that phone call. The representative there seemed to know what the xbox one x was and it's value. He asked me the same question of what I wanted for it So I threw out $150 to test the waters given my last low ball quote. Without hesitation, he told me that he would have no problem with that. Beware of asking for a loan or selling with Actions Pawners & Jewelers. You may be getting very low offers when their competitors will double the value of your item.

  When you called and stated what you was trying to get a loan on your gaming system you was asked how much you was trying to get. Because it was for a loan we give a lower amount, You stated it was a 500gb xbox one s not the xbox one x. Hence the 70.00 loan offer. Had you said that it was a xbox one x.It would have been more. Have repeated questions of how much we would give you, I gave you a offer based on what system you told me. You then ended the conversation. We have been in business for over 20 yrs. and we run a very fair and honest operation to state we low ball people is simply not true.

  I was at action pawners and Jewelers the other day I bought a diamond ring and wow the savings worth spectaculars after I went to Jared and Kay Jewelers wow they wanted two or three times at dollar amount my wife is so darn happy all of her girlfriends are Envy of the ring that I purchase I just wanted to say I will be back at Action Pawn an jewlers thanks

  This is one of the worse pawnshop I been too, don’t do business here. Go somewhere else. He can’t even help you out with a loan.
