  I have used Matt 2 times. The first when I bought my first house and the second was a refi. Matt really went the extra mile to help explain everything to me and make sure I was comfortable with everything before moving forward. He work hard both times to find the best deal for me. I would 100% recommended Matt to all my friends and family looking for a mortgage or to refinance.

  Matt went above and beyond to help get me my loan. It was a unique situation that I took to other lenders and didn't get much help. A family member got me in touch with Matt and he took it head on. The property was in Great Falls, MT and he helped from Kalispell. Hes super easy to work with. He tried over and over. Even after I lost hope! But he did it! I ​was in Alaska during closing, but he even lined out a notary to meet me in a small town to finish the deal. I highly recommend him to help anyone! I'll be coming back.

  If we could give 100 stars, we would! We have gotten multiple mortgages over the years, and never have we had such a smooth, fast, or simple experience as we had with Matt and Adelina. These two are on top of things! They worked around the clock for us, answering our calls on the weekend, emailing late at night, Matt even called us multiple times while he was on vacation in Mexico just to give us updates on our loan application. We shopped the mortgage to our bank; Chase, as well as FVM and we were shocked... Not only do you get the wonderful personalized service of dealing with a small business, but FVM got us a larger loan amount at a better rate! As if that wasn't enough, they got the whole deal closed in 9 days as opposed to Chase who quoted us 4-6 weeks. Thank you Matt and Adelina! We will be forever customers!

  Even though my income and borrowing power was limited (as a locally working Montanan) Matt spent lots of time researching the best options for a loan and communicating clearly with me about those options. Matt’s firm made the mortgage process easy to understand! If you’re in education, the service industry, a nurse, or any other working individual who makes a Montana wage, Matt will work hard to provide information about mortgages available to you. He is willing to go above and beyond even for small loans. In a time when the real estate market is extra competitive I would absolutely recommend working with Matt to determine what’s possible!

  The team at Flathead Valley Mortgage were super helpful in helping us actually do two purchase closings at the same time. One here in Whitefish and the other out of state (they weren't writing the loan). They were super helpful in making sure that everything was in line to do such a complicated task all at once and I'll definitely be working with them in the future!

  My husband and have have tried a few times since we’ve been married to get a home loan. Each time (prior to recent events) have been a terrible experience. The loan officers were vague and unhelpful; not really explaining why we were approved for so little or what needed to be done for debt consolidation, or to be approved for more. Then in January we had the opportunity to do a consult with Regis Dahl a mortgage broker at Flathead Valley Mortgage and it couldn’t have gone better. Regis explained everything, was very helpful and was always available with whatever questions or concerns we had along the way. We even got approved for more than we expected. We literally wouldn’t have our first home if it wasn’t for him. We would recommend Flathead Valley Mortgage to any or all in the valley looking for an amazing brokerage team.
