Maria Abad1I call every week for news about an application and today is more like 5month and nobody know about that, Terrible, despite the fact that they have a system they never know anything and each employee answers meaningless things, I think they do not even review the information, in conclusion it is disastrous.

Yenira Alfonso1Still waiting for flagstar to provide a response to an inquiryZ made 2 months ago. When I reach out to their CS department they bounced us around from one representative to another . They finally asked me to send some documents two weeks ago, sent by email and fax however they still say they have not received it. Worse bank to deal with, stay away!!!

Andy Saintilus1In the month for February 2021. I was dealing with covid 19 health complications but was able to submit my payment through flagstar online payment portal for some reason they are saying that they didn't receive the payment when I made the payment. They have added a late remark on my credit reporting when the payment was made. I would like the remark removed especially since I logged in to pay. They have no sympathy for anyone especially since I was sick and still managed to pay them throughout the entire Pandemic. This is not Company that is for the people please do not think of using them I have tried reaching out to them and filing a claim but they just continue to say that they will not remove it. I'm not surprised by the amount of bad reviews listed for them. Their customer service is pretty bad. They transfer you around there is no one to speak with about true concerns.

Matthew Harris1Is there a way to give ZERO stars? Let me start by saying that this has been the worst loan process I have ever been through. There was incompetence on all levels and I will never be going through Flagstar for anything ever again. Fist the loan officer should be fired. He asked me for paperwork that I have given him already multiple times. I remember one time he asked for one piece of paperwork 3 times in one hour. As I kept giving it to him he kept saying he can’t find it and to send the right paperwork. He should have asked where the information he was looking for was on the paperwork. I ended up having to call him. I called 4 times in a row because not once did he ever call me back when I left a message. And when he did finally answer his head set does not work and I could not understand him. I was also very frustrated with him at this point since throughout the process he kept telling me he does not need any more paperwork but was always come back asking for more. I think he told me we were done around 5 times. At one point I asked for his supervisor but loan officer refused to give me his supervisors name or number. If you would like I can send you all the emails that me and loan officer have had and you can see that not one of my questions were ever answered. But anyway, as I was frustrated and also not able to understand him I got a little angry to which he told me he was going to hang up on me. I’m sorry but it’s hard dealing with someone who cannot get his paperwork straight. Once I was approved which took 2.5 months I was told to get documents for the title company from the business. I gave them the documents and then 2 weeks later I asked Brian what is taking so long. Cause of course there is no communication. He then tells me I was supposed to be contacted on by someone from the title company on 12/30 for the operating agreement. This was on 1/4 that I found this out. 1) why wasn’t I asked for this in the first place and 2) why was I not contacted. So I get him the operating agreement. We set a date to sign on 1/11 but guess what an hour and half before signing the notary calls me and tells me there are problems with the deed and we need to reschedule. Knowing nobody at flagstar is going to contact me I email Brian (cause god knows I will never call that guy). I rescheduled for 1/15 which I believe is over 3 months after I started the loan process. One more thing my rate was also increased without being informed right when my loan was approved. No message or any communication from flagstar. It went from 3.375% to 3.559%. I find this to be very unprofessional and shady. I have reported the bank to the federal reserve for this. There is much more but I am tired of writing right now. Just know DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!!

Bevoline Northover1I had a horrible experience with trying to do a refinance. I ended up had to cancel my application as I did not feel confident with this process. I was being asked for proof on a rental property which I do not have that some how got reported on my application. When I asked my loan officer he said it should not have been their. My loan officer could not tell me how much my exact loan amount or monthly payment will be, and he was never returned my calls. He quoted me one amount initially and then told me he will not know the exact amount until closing. I had to email him several times and also call and left a message for a manager that never returned my call. My biggest regret is the fact that they ran my credit and I ended up with not a good result.

Angelica1Worst mortgage company, lost my ELECTORNIC application for loan mitigation despite uploading all of the requirements that they asked me to submit ONLINE. Very unreliable, stay away. My assigned point of contact Dontez didn't even call back to follow when the day before when we spoke, he said he will after I submitted all of my paperwork. Worst customer experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If they lose ELECTORNIC PAPERWORK, WHAT ELSE CAN THEY LOSE? They don't deserve any stars whatsoever.

Kimberly Parker1I am HIGHLY disappointed with this company. I have been dealing with their loss claims department and there is NO sense of urgency. It's been 7 months trying to get my claim check with water damage done to my home. There is a severe lack of communication skills, professionalism, and timeliness. All of these employees need more training. I do not recommend this company to anyone, they have been a NIGHTMARE to deal with. BEWARE!

Yani Pascual1This is by far one of the most disorganized, unprofessional banks i have ever dealt with. I truly consider them thieves. A bank like this should be reviewed and investigated. No matter how many times you sent them paperwork they act like they never received it and take the money out of your escrow. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHANGE BANKS IMMIDIATELY.

Cristian Perez1Wow. Tried to refinance my home that was correctly being financed by Flagstar about a month ago and I had to leave to a different back. Where do I start? First off they asked me for more proof when I initially financed my home, 4 almost 5 months and I constantly had to send paperwork every 2-3 days to prove income, rent, etc. To add on to this, my lending officer, Kevin Burell, constantly rushed me, false claimed he tried to reach me, and never updated me/ really answered my questions or concerns via email. I’m really disappointed on the customer service quality this banker offered me.

Anthony Mendoza1Not a friendly bank. Continues to charge fees amidst the crisis - additional fees for account servicing and do not service anything. They have assessed fees and when asked for a reconciliation they have removed such fees claiming they found an error on their side. Reviews on Flagstar show they border FRAUDULENT and are not good. The moment I can Refinance I will remove my mortgage from them ASAP!
