Julie A2I've been receiving a check for my Taxes and Insurance yearly. When the extra funds were supposed to be applied to the principal payment of my loan. The only way to fix this, I was told on the phone today, was to call every month and have them apply the correct amount where I wanted it, after they received my payment. The initial contact I had, I tried to set up automatic payments for them to pull monthly. The gal didn't even want to pull up my loan account. Just told me to log in to my online banking and make payments there. They also charge $30 to get payoff information faxed or emailed and they're not able to tell me a payoff over the phone. If you wire your payoff to them. The funds still have to sit for 10 business days to be verified before your lien will be paid. For those not aware. A wire transfer is a cash transaction. They cannot be disputed or taken back.

Shawn Bright2Staff was very nice but good luck trying to find the right department. They charged me $12,000 to my account for insurance even though I already sent them proof of Insurance. There is no way to communicate except to go through their spider maze of a phone system. Your forced to listen to the same message over and over. I was transferred to 4 departments only for them to say you have to go to a fifth. Then that department said I had to go back to the forth who already said they couldn't help. Each department apologized but all are helpless. Meanwhile I still show I owe $12,000 for something purchased by them that I don't need.

Dalton Mason1I have reached out multiple times trying to get my damaged debit card replaced for months now. Can’t even get a response from customer service. Little services along with the app and communication go a long way.

Family Lambertsen1Sorry bank , they took over my lone a few years ago, been trying to get by with this covid 19 thing going on and all they say is cant help , asked them about the 100.00 mortgage insurance they bill me to see if that could help but they say let me transfer you . Still nothing, today got a call saying I'm not in forbearance any more but like I told the guy you all sent me a letter saying I dont qualify 3 months ago and that I need to keep making payments. So my kids go with out and they make there money seams kind of crazy. I hope I can find a job that's not affected by this covid 19 and save some money and find a new bank .

Trevor Till1I really wish my loan wouldn't have been sold to these people. Absolutely terrible customer service. If you call into customer service you'll get passed around all over the place because no one seems to know what they are doing. Emailing customer service is even worse because their customer service agents do not bother to actually READ the email. Terrible organization. They do not even deserve one star.

Claire Kitchen1Had my mortgage transferred in Feb from Freedom. Have owned property since 2002, This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They deduct the wrong amounts, and each customer service rep you talk to has a different excuse/story. I have ZERO clue what my monthly payment is supposed to be b/c they gave me different amounts. Avoid Flagstar like the plague!!!

Hal Hupert1Avoid at all cost. We did not even get our loan through them, they somehow bought our loan. It is almost impossibility gat ahold of anyone. If you pay your loan too early they do not apply to your payment. Too late and they try adding a huge fee! They are a nightmare to deal with and we will be refinancing with someone else as soon as possible. 0 stars. Negative stars if that were possible.

mtbrickler1This organization is truly a mess. CSRs don’t seem to even have a grasp on their internal systems or policies. I’ve been told by a CSR - “I have not been trained properly on flagstar systems”. This organization clearly has no interest in serving it’s employees or it’s customers.
