First U.S. Watt Avenue Branch Reviews

Heather the Ginge1Do not trust this credit union. They will tell you anything to try to get more business, but ultimately just take your money and waste your time. Background: I attempted to refinance my mortgage here with the banker Joe Carlini using an equity cash-out refinance. I owe next to nothing on my house with equity exceeding $150,000 and I requested less than 30% of it. I spent weeks meeting with them, gathering the information requested, and signing up for their checking account along with paying the fee to create the account, along with other things they suggested. The banker who created my checking account was exceedingly rude and he kept scoffing at his system as it was annoying him. Regardless, I explained to Joe that I have a full plate and do not want another hard credit inquiry unless the loan will be approved. I was assured that my refinance would go through without a problem. Shockingly, I was denied and told to get a cosigner with a reason cited as "debt to income ratio" and Joe told me that he didn't know that student loans would count as debt since I am not paying on them yet. Shouldn't a banker who helps customers with mortgages know that information? Then he told me I was only "a cpuple hundred a month" above the required debt to income ratio. I resolved this by paying off all credit cards not included in the cash-out refi and selling my car. I loved that car. Despite fulfilling their requirements and meeting the debt to income ratio, I was told yet again to get a cosigner with no factual reason to back up the denial. I have clearly been strung along and lied to. But the damage has already been done - their hard inquiries have dropped my credit score and now I don't have a car along with the weeks of stress this process has wrought. I wish I'd never stumbled across this horrid credit union.

Judie McFadden1I am having the worst experience EVER! I HAVE BEEN USING ONLINE BANKING FOR YEARS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS. Every time I try to log on to my account, the system says my info is incorrect. I called and confirmed my user name and the system will not let me in. I have tried 4 passwords but none works. I need to be able to access my accounts but at this time I cannot. I NEED HELP. THIS IS REDICULOUS!
