  I went to this credit union to open up a business account for a trucking business that I own. I was racially discriminated, and was told that they must talk to corporate to make sure it’s ok. Lady promise to call me within 2 days. Two weeks later still have not received a call. I went to Chase and had my account open within 45 minutes and they were more than happy to accept my deposit. I will be reporting Safe Credit Union services to BBB. I was completely humiliated, 10 minutes after walking in, they sent me home.

  The staff is so courteous and helpful. The branch is located in a very accessible place. One suggestion: should provide seniors cashier checks free of charge.

  Poor service with long lines & wait times. Racial profiling although the account has been opened for 6 years & I plan to close it after this last incident. Wouldn't recommend SAFE.

  Stephanie Martin Sr account service rep at the Del Paso rd 95834 location. She gave me the wrong direct deposit numbers. I tried twice before i went to the branch to see why it did not go through. The branch on Watt and El camino said it was my error. (heavy set male, Hispanic ) Bank rep responds was "this a credit union, not a letter writing institution to waive fees. " I looked at him and was thinking is this a joke. Pretty rude. As a result, potential fee would apply. I decided to not waste anymore of my time and cancelled my account, and their small offer of $150. Don't waste your time. 0 Star is the correct review. Good riddance!

  Very friendly staff, good terms for my account. Debit card has Chip, works well, nice rates.

  I've been to the drive through atm and the walk up one several times to make a deposit. Each time the atms keep returning my money!! I am beyond frustrated!!! I am inserting my money correctly and its not even damaged or wrinkled money!! OMG fix your atms already!! I've never had this problem with another banking company. Some of us need to pay bills and aren't available during the day to walk inside. I'm about ready to go to a different location. This is nonsense.

  Very unproffessional treats their members like criminal inmates by making themtake off their hats & look into a camera eventhough they are holding your I.D. & bank card in hand. They also put my name wrong on my atm card & once the dumb manager tried to refuse to cash my check stating because it came to me via Fed Ex it was going to be a scam that would mess up my account Lol! I never met with such a dumb bank manager in life. Total racial profiling & mistreatment there.

  Great service and usually quick. Only complaint is their ATM is so slow. They need to fix this.

  SAFE is a wonderful credit union. Full range of services, great mobile apps, and knowledgeable staff. The El Camino location is safe, good parking, easy to access.
