  I worked with FSB to secure a mortgage on a new home, and they were fantastic. Reponses to questions were always taken care of quickly, and if they didn't immediately know the answer to a question, they got back to me as soon as possible after doing additional research. They were always clear and concise on what documents they needed and where we were at in the mortgage process. They really made getting a mortgage as fast and painless as possible. Overall, a great team to work with.

  I found out that my dream home was coming up for sale! My son had recently used 1st bank to buy my parents land.. he highly recommended that I use 1st State Bank! I called an made an appointment with Jennifer.. she was so very nice and helpful!, told me exactly what I needed to do and the process was started! As a mail carrier I was trying to buy a home during the month of December, which is complete madness! But Jennifer and her team helped me and was patient through the whole process!! I closed on my home at the beginning of January! This was a dream come true and I appreciate everything that Jennifer and her team did! I highly recommend everyone to give her a call when you need to get a home mortgage!!! ❤️

  I had a great experience getting my home refinanced with First State Bank. I sat down with Jennifer Samuels and we looked over my information and she found the right loan at the right rate to do all the things I needed to do to my home. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and transparent through the whole process. I highly recommend to everyone.
