Jasmine Turner1Horrible bank, horrible customer service, horrible financial security. I’ve had this account for over 5 years and my card has been compromised SEVERAL times. In all of which cases , I myself paid for a new debit card to be issues to me (it was never just given as courtesy) then was told I would not be able to have any more cards issued to me (like it was my fault) and when then on top of that, I tried to open a very fraudulent dispute activity on my card and Staci Dunn was of very little to no help with her “investigation” of the situation. Proceeded to talk over me when trying to explain my situation to her. Very terrible customer service. I will be closing account and making others aware not to bank here and that your money is not safe 🅿️

Wen Carter1Been a customer for 15+ years the customer service and reliability has slowly decreased over the years. They have horrible customer service, unprofessional staff they are unreliable for the simplest tasks . They misplaced paperwork that needed to be signed and refused to reprint. DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK, they do not have your best interest in mind. I will be closing all accounts and going to a better bank.

Megan Fox1This bank is a joke. I have banked here for close to a year and I've been locked out of my account more times than I can count. Once this happens I also cannot get into my account on the website nor can I do a forgot password, even though the password is not the issue, because their system seemingly can't validate my identity. Then when this happens, no one can help unless a personal banker is there. I've never had this many issues win this amount of time with a bank. I will be closing my account, please save yourself and bank elsewhere.

They helped us with our home mortgage, a home improvement loan, set us up with a no-cost checking account and really went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. Now I can say that we really love First Southern Bank and feel confident that any of our banking needs will be met. We truly had a great experience in every way with First Southern Bank and can honestly say that we wouldn't be here without them.

Fluffy Bum Feathers2I was trying to close out an account at the carbondale branch and was met with so many obstacles that left me frustrated. Misinformation and under trained employees lectured me on the legal intricacies of my financial obligations to vendors. I was chastised and left there still not being able to close my accounts after two months! Next day I tried calling and again I got the same employee with the same disturbing behavior. When I requested a transfer to a manager I was transferred to the grand tower branch. Hannah was the unfortunate employee that took my call and had to hear the whole story. Hannah was empathetic, obviously knowledgeable about how the process works and immediately got on the phone with book keeping and got the situation under control. I drove today 54 miles to grand tower to sign the necessary documents and close my account. I was met with smiling faces and pleasants attitudes. Hannah thank you for helping me. You are an asset to First Southern bank and I wish you the best. Good job!
