  The service is top rate from Ruth and the tellers to John and the mortgage department. They are also pet friendly, which is very important to myself and Bella (my dog), she always looks forward to her treats from one of the tellers.

  I've had a great experience with First Reliance. The manager, John, knows me by name and makes sure to make me feel welcome anytime I'm at the branch. The couple of times I've had a question, their staff has tracked down the answer even when they had to make several phone calls to other staff to do it.

  We have had an excellent experience with first reliance. Jason was extremely helpful with securing our loan for a commercial property, even after a long search and many properties that fell through. Donna was also very easy to work with in getting our accounts setup. Highly recommend banking with first reliance.

  Terrible experience with this bank. The employees are rude and refused me common services. I always hold a positive balance and direct deposit with them so it’s not like I’m a bad customer by overdrafting or keeping a super low balance. My debit card expired and I kept getting emails and texts about it expiring at the end of the month and I never got a new one in the mail. I called them and they said over the phone they could print one at the bank so I drove into town to get one printed, but then they refused to make me a new card or get one mailed to me so I didn’t have access to my money in my checking account for almost two weeks while I waited for all my pending transactions to go through so I could close the account. Also going through the drive through I sat there for 10 minutes before I realized they don’t greet you. You have to call them and then they just say “yes?” over the speaker and act annoyed that you are there. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a bank before. I have closed out all my accounts with them and even then they didn’t give me a receipt saying my account was closed so I checked the app and sure enough they left my savings account open. SO frustrated by the lack of decent service. There are many other banks right in the same area that can offer 10x better service than this one.
