  Tried getting a non-conventional mortgage through them. Didn't end up happening. After 8 weeks both I and the seller gave up. Trying to get any information about what is going on is like pulling teeth. Myself, Title office, and my realtor would contact them asking about the status, or what was needed next, and get no response until the next day most times. When they needed docs, it was one piece at a time. "We need X document to move forward" Sent. No response until next day. Then calling and emailing them, finally get: "Now we need this document" Just one doc at a time day after day after day. Asked for a straightforward list of any and all docs that might be needed so I can just have them ready. No response. Just ignored until the next day. "Now we need this one doc to move forward" Going to take me a few days to get that doc. Would have been nice if you had told me sooner. Told week after week after week "We can close on Friday" just to be told at the last min on Friday "We need this other document to close" If you have a bunch of time you need to waste and money to lose on earnest deposits, etc, go with FNBA. I'm out well over $1000 because they couldn't get a simple loan done after 8 weeks.

  I cannot speak highly enough about the staff here at 1st National Bank. Lori, David and Victoria are all such wonderful people and are so very eager to help any time we have questions, bring in deposits, or just making sure our banking is going smoothly for our busy dental office. The building is absolutely gorgeous and is always so inviting every time we stop in, from the snacks and coffee to a simple hello and goodbye. If you are looking for a bank, I would definitely recommend them. You will not be disappointed! Family Dentistry

  Going with FNBA for my mortgage has been an outstanding experience! They are super efficient and make the process as easy as possible. I worked with Eric Andrejack who provided concise and accurate guidance along the way. I had some complications including being in an active chapter 13 bankruptcy and was still able to obtain the mortgage.

  Becky Shinevar was our loan officer... We could not find any bank that does bank statement loans for self employed borrower. The minute we spoke to Becky, we had full confidence that we found the bank! Within a week she went through all of our bank statements and we had a pre-approval. After that it was smooth sailing and we even closed within 30 days!!! Becky and the entire team at First National Bank knows the banking process and are so simple to work with.   I had a great experience at this bank! I went in to get a notary and they made the process so quick and easy that I was amazed. I would strongly recommend working with them for any banking or notary needs!

  I came to FNBA after door after door was slammed in my face for a home loan. We were at the point of having to move from our home when Stephanie Brown was able to get us approved. We were dealing with difficult sellers who changed the terms on us and Stephanie was by our side all the way through and made the necessary adjustments to our loan. I closed on the home a little over a week ago and it was an emotional day. I can never express in words how much the help that Stephanie and Bruce meant to me an my family. They will forever go down in the history books as awesome.

  I was asked to fly from out of state for an in person interview that lasted 8 HOURS straight. No one ever told me the interview would last all day and I spent the whole time wondering when it would end. Over the course of 8 hours, I interviewed with over 8+people. The interview process was more about stamina than qualifications and should be revised to align with commom hiring practices in today's marketplace. In my 20 years of working I have never been to an interview like this one. Needless to say, I was not hired and very thankful considering if that's what the hiring practice is like I can't imagine what it's like to work there.

  Best bank I've ever worked with, and I've worked with a few in Europe and the US, none of them come close to the level of care the staff at FNBA gives to their customers. Whatever questions I've had they answered, everybody was very friendly and awesome to work with. I had some problems due to some amounts wrongfully placed on hold on my card by the hotel i was staying at, but David and Britten took charge and got my money taken off hold in record time, Britten even went the extra mile and kept watch on my account when I was overseas in Europe. The cashiers are also great, Victoria, Charris and Amber were always very friendly and always made sure any deposits or withdrawals i made were properly logged, always broke down the bills according to my needs at the time. I strongly recommend FNBA, it's very hard to find their level of professionalism these days

  I would like to recommend working with First National Bank of America, specially with Steven Spears. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable since start of process to the end. What I am most impressed is how fast Steven returns phone calls and emails.
