First National Bank Reviews

Le'Zahn Treen1Was nice at first. Had the account a whole maybe 2 weeks and got my account shut down. I got a loan/grant to start my coffee business and they said it was “suspicious activity “ and instead of calling me or the people that was sending the money, they closed my account down. I was told my state tax return was there pending and I could come get my money out the next day. I went in the next day and I got my money out my account but not only that, they sent my tax refund BACK. Literally my first ever bank account and i wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Terrible first experience.

Chelsey Rumberger1Way too old-fashioned. You have to put your money into an ENVELOPE and mark the amount you're depositing, your account number, etc. and deposit it in a drop box if you want to deposit money after bank hours. Their ATM has no option to deposit your own money into your account. The people at this branch are completely rude, I spoke to a woman about how my fiance and I share an Amazon account together and some mishap that had occurred, she responded to me that the mishap never happened and that my BOYFRIEND better check his account because they can't help me. I've made purchases on Amazon and had PLENTY of cash in my account to pay for the purchases, and they were promptly declined by First National Bank, over and over again. They have no app you can use to my knowledge. Their website is completely useless and outdated. You can't see the specific purchases you've made when viewing them online on your account, only specific amounts you've paid/gathered and where they came from. I lost my debit card last year and recovered it. A WEEK AFTER HAVING MY DEBIT CARD and using it, First National Bank FROZE my debit card so I was left without access to my money, because where I lost my card notified the bank it had been lost but I recovered it the same day. FNB never called me to check if I recovered it or to see what happened before they froze it and left me completely without money. Want to open an account at First National Bank? You can't do it online like at other banks, you have to travel there and open it, and that takes about a half hour to an hour. Not to mention, want to pay your bills through your bank account online? They can sign you up for bill-pay online no problem, but the month you don't use bill-pay they charge you a $5.00 service fee for not using it. At my fiance's bank, this feature is completely free. You can't cash a check by taking a picture of it like at my fiance's bank. I'm so done with this bank, and the cherry on top was referring to the father of my child (fiance) and soon to be husband as a mere 'boyfriend'. If you can't treat your customers with respect, they'll surely leave. See ya, FNB!
