First Midwest Bank Reviews

Kevin Hughes1I give a review of "0". I am forced to give a star or I could not post this complaint. I could not deposit a check made out to my "company name" because my name was not on the check. Barbara did this to me more than once and then she flagged my account so I could not do anything in the future. I will never go to this branch again. I wish I could because it is the closest one to my residence. So much for serving the local community

Dreamlily771Wow I thought I was the only one, til I decided to check it out. This is a lot of 1 stars! Their system is pretty cliquey, discriminatory, stuck up, arrogant & privacy invading in my thoughts. You check one person out, you do it for all consistently, not tell a customer "I have to check your ID because I don't know you & it's required." That's not an answer let alone legit nor professional! Never been asked for an ID for wanting cash back, been with First Midwest since 2018, I can go to any branch I need/want to at anytime, never had anyone require an ID to get cash back and make me wait a long time (disturbing..invading my privacy?) I've even been to this particular location from time to time in the 4 years I've been with First Midwest, so I'm not a "stranger" depositing same check over the 4 years, making withdrawals there, etc. And the aloof attitudes, no smiles, no personalities made it more suspicious..if they would've asked nicely with a smile & explained THOROUGHLY with a smile & kind & professional tone, rather than what seemed like a personal answer with the attitude that they can give whatever answer they want & not have to be clear & claim "it's required", then I would've maybe understood, but not be on here giving 1 star like everyone else or leaving bad feedback like others are doing on here, or even calling to complain which I did. Told them check your attitude (& mindset) at door before clocking in; only FM branch I've called on. If it takes 7 minutes to check one's ID, what are they looking for? Suspicious, made me uncomfortable.... & while waiting, they send me someone else's withdrawal or deposit slip with their name & bank account info. Told manager who said it was for security purposes to check ID, but they weren't paying attention & sent me someone else's info! Not only not going back, but any strange activity ever on my identity, bank account, anything in ANY way, this place will be first people/business I will suspect & have investigated. Manager tried to explain system to me.. still doesn't make sense, cuz anyone who is "known" can turn anytime. This is a bank not Cheers where regulars come & everyone knows your name. Like I'd said, looks like I'm not only one on here giving a bad review!!

storm19ful1Would give this location a "0" if possible. Pulled up to drive thru and was completely ignored for several minutes (I was only one there). They are always less than friendly and always seem to find a problem with whatever transaction I am doing. I will not be going back to this location. Ever.

Dave Gill1Stay clear of First Midwest Bank and Jennifer Koff!!!!! worst service and scam. My son wanted to cash in a CD they are making him file a lawsuit to get his own money. They slipped in a $1000.00 fee thinking nobody would notice. Stay clear more to come on this story. Worst Bank every!!! Jennifer Koff & First Midwest Bank stole $1000 in fees from my sons estate. More to come on a class action lawsuit for a fees scam the bank is running. If you feel you have been defrauded by this bank please contact me. Thanks
