  I have banked with Idaho independent Bank for over 20+ years and I was Skeptical about continuing my business with First Interstate when they bought the other bank but since the past several years they have been Wonderful and have been able to gain my trust and appreciation. They have Great Employees working at the Caldwell Branch of First Interstate Bank.

  I was happy with my bank but then they merged with first interstate. I've had nothing but problems with this bank. They changed the type of account I have. I read there small print and there fees. The fees are insane. I wish they held better hours and were open on Saturday as well. There phone app isn't very good. The only way you can cash a check is by going in side the bank. I would avoid this bank at all costs.

  Before the merger with Idaho Independent bank I had no problems. Now that the merger has taken place I have experienced declined cards, overdraft fees and online banking problems. This is a major headache and I am considering taking my business elsewhere. I won't give it anymore stars until it's fixed!

  I deposited cash into my account on Friday. I even got a receipt with my new balance on it. Saturday I went to make reservations for our trip and my card was declined. Went to online site and the deposit wasn't there. Had to wait til Monday to call customer service. They do not see deposit either. They told me my branch opened at 9. Googled the number and their sight says they don't open til 9:30. I am very frustrated!!!

  I've never had an issue with this bank. They've always been prompt in helping me with fraud issues, false charges etc. Everyone that works there is very nice as well. A lot of them are bilingual too. Im usually in and out of there.
