Mark1You know, I posted a negative review and then withdrew it a few weeks ago concerning FIB banking from my areas FIB. Yet I now want to let it be known though that in my opinion this bank is no longer a local entity but rather another corp bank chain. It has nothing to do with the employees. They are by large good people. I don’t know how they put up with the bank either. I find after 20 years of this bank is structured such that your forced to jump thru hoops to get no where fast. They want big business and guaranteed govt loans and easy money. I banked thru mtn west bought by FIB as a farmer and as a private citizen and as a commercial business owner. I just think people need to be aware of this place, I think other options are out there. Good Yuck!

Deborah Brusell1I called the client contact center today. I was on hold a total of 50 minutes. I wanted the interest paid on two loans that were paid off recently. I was told the research center could get that information BUT they would charge me 25.00 dollars an hour for my financial info. I need the interest paid for taxes. I never received a letter with the interest I paid. I am appalled by this Banks practice. BEWARE!!!!!

Ambria Miller1They are extremely behind in their online bill pay/ online banking. I have an auto loan through First interstate and I don’t have a checking or savings account, and you can’t make an online payment without one. You should just be able to call and make a payment through the automated teller by typing in card info. This is not the case. Very frustrating.

Gayle Peterson1Horrible, horrible service!! FIB, have you gotten so big that it's nearly impossible to call a branch directly? Automated everything!! What I need is to speak with a supervisor about a cash deposit that wasn't made to the account and my daughter had to wait till Monday for it to be figured out!! By the way it was for her birthday. Sad, sad, sad. This kind of service makes me feel so much better about me banking with a credit union.

mindy baker1Pulled into the drive through with only one other person in another drive through lane. I sent in my papers and began to wait. Cars came and went in lanes on either side of me. I pressed the call button since I still had not been helped or my papers returned but still no response from a teller. Pressed the call button again and someone came on and said they were back logged and they would get to me as soon as they could. I'm not sure how things work inside, but waiting over 15 minutes with no one in front of me and only one other car when I arrived was a bit disappointing. I will not be back to this location as I have not had this experience at the other FIB locations.

Nick Walker5I called upset that my card is taking almost a month to arrive in the mail and when I got through to the call center Seth was so awesome and made me forget that I was even upset in the first place he even made sure to wish me a merry Christmas!

Keith Grant4My buisness uses first interstate to get other customers loans. They are very reponsive, and easy to work with. The only problem is there lending stipulations are very strict, and intrest rates are pretty average

Hugh Janus1I called them and ask how much it would be for a money order, and they said five dollars. I drive all the way down there, and they then tell me that it's $10. Not cool.
