  My fiance and I had Scott Van Stone as our loan officer and honestly it was one of the best decisions we made when buying our home. Scott was so helpful from beginning to end. He's very knowledgeable in this industry. We were first time home buyers so we had a lot of questions but best believe Scott answered/explained them all. The best thing we loved about Scott was given our situation he was very realistic but would genuinely find all options for us with our loan. We would 100% recommend Scott to anyone getting a loan.

  Scott Van Stone with First Home Mortgage was recommended to me by a close friend who’s a realtor. I remember my first conversation with Scott, who was a total stranger. I needed fast & competent. I was in a tough spot with needing to purchase my own house. Yes, literally purchasing the house I live in from myself, but not with a refinance, and limited access to certain accounts. I could NOT have done it without Scott. He went above & beyond everything I could have imagined. He knew I was determined from the start to keep the house my kids grew up in. Scott is the reason I settled on my house without any problems ensuring my kids get to keep the house they have grown up in. He far succeeded anything a mortgage broker (aka my mortgage guy) should ever have to be dealt. Talk about someone listening to a desperate/determined mom and making it happen! I’ll forever be grateful to him & his team. His team, the title company and the realtor assigned to the trustee has never seen my situation before, (I doubt they’ll do it again!). 100% will always recommend him and his team. I’ve purchased 3 homes previously not (including the one he had me repurchase) and I’ve never written a review before, but Scott…talk about a dedicated man that understands the process. If he doesn’t (you’ll know he won’t give up until he figures it out)– well – his entire team is behind him figuring it out with him. I’ll never use another mortgage guy besides Scott again.

  Having Scott Van Stone with First Home Mortgage as our lender was probably one of the best decisions we made when it came to buying our new home. He expertly maneuvered through all the issues that came up working with closing on the sale of one home before buying the next, working with the VA to ensure everything was properly done. It was truly a great experience working with him. Even when I had occasionally had moments of panic Scott was able to explain what was going on and keep us on the right course.

  Working with Scott Van Stone was the most efficient and thorough home buying experience my family could of asked for. It is very apparent, after now getting through a home purchase, how much of an advocate he was/worked in my families interest. Nothing came out of no where, and he was patient to work toward the prefect deal for my family. Really refreshing to work with someone like Scott and First Home mortgage, highly recommend.

  I just went through the loan process with Scott and the First Home team as my lender. I have bought four homes in my lifetime, and I have to say he provided me with the best experience over the other three! He was always accessible by text, phone, or email and made the process so simple. Before I knew it, I was approved and the settlement was completed in one month. Thank you, Scott!

  In my real estate career I’ve dealt with many lenders, some were good and others not. Dan and his team have been a pleasure to work with. Very communicative, fast responding, and creative.   Scott Van Stone and his team were fantastic to work with, so professional and Scott always was so calm, my rock lol. He just kept saying it's all good, don't worry. I honestly couldn't have bought my house without them. So patient and understanding through the whole process. I am happy to say I am a proud homeowner. You want them on your team!

  I can't imaging a better experience than working with Dan Tinnin as my loan officer! He has been completely transparent throughout the process and went above and beyond on multiple occasions. I've gotten immediate responses every time I've contacted him, even late at night on the weekends. My closing date had to be adjusted twice and both times First Home was able to make the change without any problems. I especially appreciate that they were able to work through my situation of just starting a new job and even extended my rate lock without being asked so that it will stay the same even though I won't get my first paycheck for some time. Thank you, Dan!

  Dan Tinnin was a great lender to have in my corner, he did many things behind the scenes and even extended my rate lock without me asking for it.
