  Chris Baughman Was amazing to work with when I was purchasing land. When I was referred to Chris…. And first financial, I had dealt with a subpar broker from vettedva and the veterans land board. Although the lot was advertised as 1.37 acres the veterans land board can only approve loans for livable land over an acre. The livable land came in at 0.903 acre. I reached out to Chris on 1/14/2022. I received a final (not pre) approval on 1/18/2022. I wasn’t expecting to close until late February/early March (due to the appraiser). I closed on 2/11/2022. The customer service and attention to detail I received was exquisite! Chris got sick while my loan was processing and he still emailed me back letting me know his situation and that his associate will assist me while he was recovering. This bank stepped in during a stressful time and got my application approved expeditiously. I highly recommend Chris and his associates!

  Michelle at the Magnolia location did an excellent job closing our first home loan in less than 30 days. She worked tirelessly and gave great attention to detail. I felt like we were her only client even though I knew she had multiple others. That's how much time she gave us. She explained every hurdle we came to and how we would overcome it. I know she went above and beyond for us in order to close our Loan in time and I really appreciate it. I highly recommend you give her a call! You will not get that type of hometown customer service at a large Bank like Wells Fargo or Bank of America.

  Bobby Brennan was the loan officer on my recent refinance transaction. He Was wonderful. He didn’t bombard me with unnecessary emails, but kept me updated through the process. I like that everything was kept short and sweet as it made it a smooth and painless transaction. He even sent a notary to our house to make signing easier- and picked up the cost. He is a true professional in every sense of the word, and I would recommend him to anyone.

  Awesome staff my favorite bank, great to work with had multiple loans through them a credit card and my debit card very trustworthy and made any transaction ive had with their staff awesome! Carissa Parker has always handled my loans and and credit aps and does a great job. Never had and security issues in 2+ years banking with them and always feel welcome.

  First Financial handled our home loan. We were extremely satisfied with the service we received from Bobby Brennan and his staff. The entire process went seamlessly well. We sold a home and purchased another so there were dates and deadlines to meet. Bobby Brennan kept everything going smoothly and never let us worry. We will definitely recommend him to anyone looking to finance a new home.

  I highly recommend this bank. We have processed mortgages, HELOCs, and refinances here with ease. Most recently, we worked with Jordan Hays on our refinance. He is top notch, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, informative, patient (with my product consideration and learning curve), and responsive. He instills confidence and ease in big financial decisions. Straight to the point, it is people like Jordan that show how community banks stand out, and he somehow keeps the community banking experience going in this odd COVID / remote environment.
