Been with FECU for a few years now. My re-fi was a pleasant experience, but my new auto loan experience is atrocious. They didn't reach out to me during the specified time duration and I had to call multiple times to get someone to process the loan. They said they would send out an overnight check to the dealership but that obviously didn't happen. Customer Support is currently taking an hour and a half to call back. And when they did call back, the agent on the line suddenly couldn't hear me and we got disconnected. And most of the time before that can happen, they will disconnect you right at the beginning of the call before anyone says anything, probably because they're up in the call center software que but want to take a break, so they just hang up on the customer. The only reason they get a 2 instead of a 1 is because, overall, they've been a fine credit union. They need to get their business affairs in order. Their online support is a joke.

After banking with B of A for over 30 years, FECU is our bank for life. They have met all of our banking needs and beyond. They have always been more than helpful with any problems or questions. We have always felt like we matter and are more than just an account holder. Would definitely recommend just as I have to all our family. Thank you FECU!

I received a pre-approval to refinance my car and decided to move forward. I contacted loan specialist Ramon Pinelo re: the offer and was told I was approved. I proceeded to provide the required documentation... pay stubs, pay-off letter, and car registration. However, after providing docs, Ramon became unresponsive. A couple of days later I received an email from a 2nd loan specialist, Jonathan DiMaria, requesting the documentation again. I replied letting him know I was already working with someone and docs were sent in. Well, he also was unresponsive. I called and was on hold for 50 minutes just for someone to tell me Ramon was out sick and they did not know when he was going to return. At this point, I don't know the status of my refinance loan. Maybe this was a sign to no longer do business with this credit union. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. Additionally, Im concerned about the documents I sent in.

The reason I am giving it even a 1 star review is I was lucky enough to only deal with the automation of car payments. Little did I know online services would be a problem in the future. Never late and had no problems when I paid off my car. However, the account was still open and I inquired on how to close it and receive the leftover money. Mind you, this was before the new system update and online phone security procedures. Here I am going through my accounts and it has been closed. I recently called and the patronizing gentleman said the account has been closed due to fees. I mentioned I never needed a regular babking account and wanted to close it! Loan + paid off = leftover money goes to me and account closed. Pretty self explanatory Without notice, my money was taken and used for their agenda. He stated there was nothing he can do on their end but if I wanted to open an account, I may do so. Really? I do business with other credit unions and focus on the rates to invest my money in. If you are going to blatantly take my money without my permission or not give me the option to invest, I will write a poor review and never do business with you again.

I was looking for an Atm that was open later and I found this location. I went there at 940pm after wrapping on set because I needed to deposit cash for a payment due the next day. I get all the way to this Atm and one there are NO DEPOSIT ENVELOPES and it says it is temporarily out of service. What a complete inconvenience, waste of Uber money and time this was. So disappointed. I left Wells Fargo for this bank but with all of the difficulties I am having with not having any easy access and accessible Atm I can rely on I may end up having to go back to Wells Fargo just for the convenience.

      Response from the owner

Hello Brittany. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I'll reach out to our branch team to make sure they know about the ATM. Thank you for the feedback.

Great credit union for all your banking needs. They offer a full suite of banking services frim your basic checking and saving accounts to mortgages and credit cards. After living in California for the past 25 years and working my way through every major bank in LA, I've come to consolidate all my banking accounts at First Entertainment. They are small enough to treat you like a customer, yet big enough to offer anything that the big fee-happy banks have. Their free interest bearing checking and saving accounts with no minimum balance have always been that way. Their ATM's and association with most major credit unions and even 7-11 means you have convenient access to your money anywhere in the country without fees. Interest rates on their credit card is lower than what other national banks charge and is free of cash advance fees. They offer a variety of mortgage products with extremely competitive rates.

Most of the tellers at this branch are very nice, but I have unfortunately run into one the last couple of times I stopped there who is not. I'm afraid I don't know his name as there was no name plaque or tag that I saw. Per my receipt, his teller # is 0687, and he is extremely rude and condescending. I have had to deal with him, as I said, twice and left the branch both times with a knot in my stomach. Because of his actions, I have decided that I can no longer use this branch. I will either go to the one on the lot (which I have used before with no problem) or go to my bank. Even though this branch is convenient for me as it is on my way home, I don't need to be upset by the thought of having to deal with this person again. I have been a member of the FECU for over 8 years, and for this to happen is very upsetting.

**Unfortunately I do not recommend this credit union** Reasons: They DO NOT refinance their own loans. They do not go out of their way to help you or make any flexibility in an event of hardship that you may have when it comes to making a payment whether of your on time payment history. My husband regrets ever giving them business.

I wanted to open an account so I called customer service to find out what sort of documentation I'm required to provide in order to open an account. So I called the customer service call center and spoke to a woman by the name of Kayla. Kayla was unable to tell me what documentation is required to open an account (that seems like basic knowledge for anyone answering the phones at a credit union to know), so I requested to speak to her manager so I could get my question answered, but Kayla was extremely rude to me when I asked to speak to the manager. If I was an employer & heard how she spoke to customers the way she spoke to me, I would fire her immediately. So I ended up going to the Miracle Mile branch with additional documentation in hopes that it was the correct documentation. It turns out that I didn't have the right documents to open an account. However, the customer service at Miracle Mile location was excellent, and I would of given them 5 stars, but because of Kayla's uselessness & rudeness I would've given a 1 star, but I didn't think it was fair to give a 1 star when it is just 1 useless incompetent employee at the company bringing down the reputation for everyone else.

This credit union is operating in 1995. A coupon book to make auto loan payments? Not capable of setting up auto pay?! Unable to pay my auto payment online without *getting my drivers license notarized* ?! You loan me tens of thousands of dollars but don't believe that I am me when I try to make my payment? Seriously? Can't help but picture this credit union chiseling account notes in stone while wearing saber-tooth tiger skin outfits. COME TO THIS CENTURY PLEASE.
