John M5Wow what a great experience I just had bad credit union first they treated me with so much respect and honor I’m a Vietnam veteran I have no legs I forgot my wheelchair and they were kind enough to cash my check through the cashing drive your wonderful people I hope you treat all your veterans out a way how to disable I’m sure you do God bless you all there may be a very successful credit union here in the valley

Joey Giersch1My wife and I (and our baby) went to open a joint checking/savings account. Victoria told us we needed 2 forms of identification. She asked if we had our birth certificates, passports, or another bank card that we could use with our Driver's License to verify our identity. We said we had our birth certificates at home. Victoria told us there was nothing they could do until we went and got our birth certificates. So we drove home, got our birth certificates, and went back to First Credit Union. When we got inside we saw another teller and she said to her manager "...um they're back and they wanna know if they can use a birth certificate for a second form of ID." Her manager looked at use and said: " we don't accept birth certificates for ididentification I have no idea why they would tell us to go get our birth certificates and then tell us they don't take them. They wasted a few hours of our day and put us through a bad experience. They were snide and extremely unapologetic. Luckily we didn't get far enough to trust them with our money.

Ashton Juel5Holly from First Credit Union coordinated the signing of my first auto loan. She was so pleasant to work with and had answers to every question I had! Awesome job too. She made everything quick and seamless. The Seller said "really? That's it?" And proceeded to ask for business cards because the whole process was so pain free.

Matthew Puckett2If I could give 5 stars for the wonderful service I recieved from the MSR who helped me and my daughter open a checking account I would, but I am giving 2 stars for the atmosphere we experienced during our stay. Holly was absolutely wonderful, and everyone who stops by this branch should ask for her specifically! She answered all of our questions with a smile, was efficient, quick, and made sure we felt valued. However, the entire time we were at her desk we were subjected to the personal conversation the other MSR was having on the phone. We learned someone in her family was getting a scope put into their stomach, someone is travelling to Virgina. It was ridiculous. Holly apologized multiple times, but it didnt excuse the fact we still had to listen to this during the entire transaction. I do not wish to be contacted but just hope the manager can reign this one in so others in the future do not learn this employees whole life story in a 20 minute visit. Again, holly was fantastic along with everyone else in the branch. And we will continue banking here, I just wished for a better first experience for my daughter outside of what Holly could control.

Gabrielle C1DO NOT EVER OPEN UP AN ACCOUNT HERE! I made that mistake of opening a secured credit card. I am now being charged to pay back my own money I have been telling them to close my account since June and the refuse to saying i need to pay the balance off of my own money and now they are telling me i need to pay the fees they have been charging me because I haven't paid my card. I put the $250 down now I have to pay them for using my money? Ridiculous! My friend had the same problem as well and I know they are not supposed to do this because after she said she would report them to the BBB they closed her account. Well they won't close mine so i finally reported them to the BBB. Someone needs to before they scam you into it too. Stay away from First Credit Union, there's a reason why they are only local. This is stealing people's money and trying to get away with it. Please do not come here there are so much better places to open an account. Arizona Federal has been good to me for years. I will never go with FCU again. I recommend you do the same. And Rosemary Bement the "Credit Manager collector" was extremely rude, talking over me and interrupting and raising her voice. Never had i experienced such rudeness at any credit union in my life. She refused to listen to me talk when I tried she spoke over me. Awful service for awful credit union.

Kay Banks3new member, so far so good when physically in branch. friendly tellers and msrs. however, trying to get someone on the phone is a headache. they don't open till 10am, and its always over a 30 minute hold for someone even for a quick question. took two days to resolve a simple issue I had because of long holds and being routed to their call center who didn't have the tools I needed and needed to speak with the branch. shouldn't be that difficult to talk to someone in the branch.

Hury Klepacki1The guy I talked to today was useless I’m in the hospital don’t have account number or mailing address and this guy keeps answering my questions when ever your ready!! Found out if you get a female agent they tend to get things done a few men are good there !! If I could change I would!!

Diana Hernandez1Worst banking every never get a loan from them it's a hassal with them. They make banking difficult and they steal your money. Any branch First Credit Union not recommended.

Lance Roberts110 days late and in collections. Only reason they got a 1 is because you can’t give a zero.
