Gina Kirkwood1My usual location is closed, so I'm forced to use this one, the only other location near me. I get that everyone needs to be and wants to be safe, however, the lines in the drive-thru are extremely long and moving at a snail's pace. I waited more than an hour to make a simple transaction! There's got to be a better system. At least the teller was nice!

Mike Carter2I banked here for SEVERAL years and my THREE accounts have always been in good standing. However, this bank has serious problems and I am currently looking for another bank to put my money in. Issue number one, they wanted to put a 10 day hold on a $31 check that I deposited. I have at least $4,000 in a single bank account at one time. I know that this is not a lot of money, but it is definitely enough to clear a $31 check. Issue number Two (this was a month ago): they wanted to put a ten day hold on a certified check (yes, certified check from a local bank in the area). I told them that this check is certified and they said, we understand that, but we don't know if it real. I asked them if they were serious, and they said yes. I asked to speak with a manager and the manager called the bank, verified that it was real, but then said that they couldn't just take the word of a person at a bank over the phone. So she needed a faxed letter from the branch manager. The branch manager faxed a letter, and then the First Community Credit Union manager took that letter to a book and began to look through the book to try to match the signature on the letter to previous letters that they had received from that bank. The signature checked out, but she still did not wanted to reduce the 10 day hold to a 3 day hold. I was so offended that they went through all of this to verify the check, but still wanted to hold it for 3 days, just in case. A certified bank check is a guaranteed check. This bank has serious problems with customer service and customer friendliness. If they were reasonably certain that the check was real, I've been banking with them for 8 years and my account had the funds to clear the check, then why would they make me wait over an hour, just to clear a check?

travis williamson5I started using First Community credit union when I was eighteen years old. I am 35 now and I have financed over 35 vehicles with them. I love everyone there and they treat me like family and I would never think of using a different bank. They are awesome at the Fairview Heights location as well as the call center. Thanks guys

Alydia Cook1I just left your drive thru I have my car loan through your bank and literally just received the worst service from your teller Elizabeth I had to drive around and come inside because this lady went and sat my deposit slip down instead of giving it back to me through the drive-thru. She literally had zero customers with her on the inside People like this shouldn't work with customers!

Wynona Cruse2I can only speak for the location in Fairview Heights - the service is lacking to say the least. On top of that I have just spent the last hour trying to make phone contact with this location and nobody has answered the phone. It's the middle of the afternoon...not first thing in the morning or at closing time...middle of the afternoon. Not only will I not to banking here any longer nor will I accept checks from anyone from this bank. I'm sorry to be so harsh but in this day and age there is no excuse for this kind of service.
