  We have been using the First Command services for a few years now. The expertise with military families has been a tremendous help. The team here listens to where you are and where you want to be. Then creates a plan and has it reviewed to make sure it is the best option for your situation. The staff always makes me feel welcome, like I am family. Would highly recommend there services for military families.

  I've had nothing but bad experiences here. Look at the response from the first review. That's a great example of dealing with this company. They use meaningless double talk to say nothing. But you should realize they don't deny the higher fees on the funds.

I don't see the response you're referring to, but we do take pride in our ability to handle feedback and resolve problems with our clients.   Do not use. First Command is known for putting it's clients in high-fee funds If you're already a client here, they probably put you in a Fidelity fund. Just go to Fidelity's website, log in, search for list of mutual funds and compare your fund to any of their other funds. Your fund will have a high than average expense ratio and likely other fees. Just look for the word fees and if there are numbers, First Command put you in a bad fund. They do this bc your advisor gets more money with those fees. This seems like a conflict of interest to me, but I don't make the rules.

We also feel that our fees are competitive and we certainly aren't trying to deceive anyone (especially our service members and their families - many of whom are employees with us). One of the ways we make our services more accessible to military families, is by offering complimentary financial plans for active duty military with no net worth requirement.
