Jacob Obloj5LeeAnn is one of the customer service reps and is the best!! She has answered every one of my questions about the Ignite checking account! This bank is one of my favorites; there is such a calming environment when you enter and staff are so helpful. Definitely recommend FFCCU!! :)

Fred5I just started banking here. They require face masks to be worn and observance of social distancing. They are welcoming to everyone, not just firefighters. Their bill payer system works different than other financial institutions. They withdraw the funds from your checking account when the check is processed, rather than waiting for the payee to cash it. This helps to make sure that you have the funds in the account, resulting in no NSF fees. I am happy!

Chris Reynolds1I have been a customer for over 35 years. I moved away and when I came to visit the branch again I realized they had been taking $10.00 per month as dormancy fees and wouldn’t even refund one penny of over $300 in fees. If that’s how they treat 30+ year customers I would hate to see how they treat everyone else. Save yourself the fees and headache and go with a national chain with better interest rates who refund fees as a one time courtesy. Extremely disappointed. Update: Firefighters commented on this trying to be the good guy here (of course) I told them I would happily continue to stay a loyal 30+ year customer and make a sizable deposit right then and there if they would reverse the dormant charges because I had moved and didn’t see the notices. The answer was ‘No’ I then asked to reverse at least this months charge because I don’t live at the address, and haven’t lived at the address in years. Again the answer was ‘No’ then I swear to god the next words out of her mouth were ‘what can we do to keep you a customer?’ I couldn’t believe the audacity or ignorance (your choice) to ask a question like. On top of that my mom gets monthly calls trying to sell her ‘money management via FFCCU, yet they couldn’t pick up a phone to let me know they had been bleeding my account for years....
Response from the ownerHi Chris. Your account had been dormant for several years, and during that time we had been sending statements and dormancy alert letters to the address we had on file. However, it was your parents' address that you provided us, so you likely never saw these alerts to let you know your account was at risk of incurring fees. We are sorry to see you go.

David Painter1Absolutely poor experience at the Parma Branch. I'm a shared service member. Prior to relocating from Broadview Road to Pleasant Valley road, I had good experiences with FFCCU. Every time I visit this new location, not so good. Some examples as a shared member not being extended shared services are that I had to deposit an insurance check, which was done in two checks. First check was deposited, next check about a month later, the branch manager came over before I left and reversed the transaction and told me I had to go to my own credit union, maybe I didn't dress well enough that day and looked like I was from Parma and not Broadview Hts/Brecksville. It short, it was a hassle to go to another location to deposit the check. Next, I was told I had to pay 5% fee to use the coin counter, but at the old branch that wasn't the case where coin counting service was offered to me. Again, shared services, not being shared. More than one instance of under staff at the service counter. I can't do much about these problems other than write my credit union and request they no longer have shared services with FFCCU. Also, I'll be sure to share my experiences with others, which are more than these two problems since FFCCU moved to the new location.

Brian Yurik1Please properly staff your branch. Ive currently been in line for 20 minutes with 7 people remaining in front of me, and 4 behind me. 2 customers left and people started sitting because of the wait. One teller is manning the walk-ins, and drive through. Get it together.
Response from the ownerWe appreciate your feedback Brian. We are in the process of adding another full-time employee to our Parma branch. We'll have another teammate there shortly to make sure this doesn't happen again. Come visit us again and we'll make sure you aren't left waiting!
