  From the very beginning, I found the company staff was very nice, and my loan officer Kareem Smith provided exceptional customer service and caring to work with. He listened to my reasons and concerns for refinancing my home mortgage loan and were very helpful sharing alot of important values and benefits for refinancing and how to invest funds for the future. Kareem kept me informed during the complete approval process, worked quickly to get my refi loan processed even when we had a lil delay with the appraisal. I will definitely recommend Financial Freedom Mortgage and especially Kareem Smith as a great person to work with. Well Appreciated.Thanks Ms. Cerise Day

  Do not deal with this company. Their sales techniques are very misleading. I was shopping for a good APR and entertained this company. I was told that the credit report that they run is a soft inquiry so I allowed them to run it. I did not want a hard pull from my credit until I was ready to refinance. For consumer awareness - a hard pull will lower your credit score anywhere from 10-20 points. Once a hard pull is completed, you have a short window to allow other hard pulls to be conducted. The three credit bureaus allow this window for those shopping for rates. This company ran not one, but two hard inquiries on my credit report on the same day after telling me that it was only a soft inquiry. They used a third party, Universal Credit Services to run the report. At no time was an authorization given to them to run a hard pull on my credit. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. When I expressed my concern with the Loan manager (Anthony in NJ), he laughed and continuously interrupted me while I was trying to express my unhappiness. He ultimately hung up on the call. Buyer beware - their website states that they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau “as of 01/2019”. What the website doesn’t say is that after 01/2019, their rating plummeted because of multiple consumer complaints. There are many reputable companies out there. This one is not one of them.

  My wife and I started working with Financial Freedom approximately 5 and 1/2 weeks a go and completed our settlement documents this past Tuesday the 22nd. Our loan processor was Kelisha Davis and she assisted us throughout the entire process. She was very professional and kept us informed weekly as to the loan process. It was a pleasure working with her and I would recommend her and Financial freedom to anyone looking to refinance their home.

  Financial Freedom is an AWESOME place to get a refinance loan or any financial needs needed. I have to admit when I received the initial call I was very dismissive because I was like what can they do Differently from all the other companies that kept calling my phone.. but once I listened to what they could do to help us get out of debt had my ear to listen. Best decision my husband and I ever made! Everything our representative advised happened to a “T” and knowing the debt we had n my husband’s credit score left me feeling like what can they do but to see it all come to work in our favor was the absolute best!!! Much appreciated to all the staff and everyone helping with our loan/refinance. Definitely recommend this company for all Your financial needs.

  Just like the other people that have left reviews I would leave zero stars if I could. This was the absolute worst experience with any company I have had in my entire life. The only reason I went through with the loan is because the rate was low and they already had me for the appraisal cost. Which btw 585 is about double the industry standard. They charge 5k for loan origination which is outrageous. I was told multiple times that I would be reimbursed for the cost of the appraisal and that I was pre approved so there was no chance I wouldn’t get that money back. Well I was the only reason the loan ever went through. I had to call and push them constantly to do anything. It was incredibly frustrating. The level of incompetence was something I’d never dealt with before. Before I signed the final disclosure I reiterated that I will be getting my appraisal fee back and was told absolutely. Well that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing. In fact I was just informed that they had to do a second appraisal and I actually owe them 585. Can you imagine after calling dozens of times and being told you will get reimbursed that you now owe them more money. And after we closed. I’m cutting my losses. Oh and the other thing. They will sell your mortgage to another company before you make your first payment which is a bigger slap in the face. I’m telling you no savings in the world is worth dealing with this company. This is the first negative review I’ve left in my life. It doesn’t feel good to write this but I feel obligated to help other people out and businesses like this should not be able to stay in business.

  Absolutely unorganized and a total SCAM! Do not work with this company, let them order an appraisal on your home, OR take your personal information with them after they come to your house saying they have a refi loan for you because chances are they DO NOT. I have been waiting for my personal taxes, bank statements, credit card statements since March 2020. Never heard a word back from them. Now it's July and still no documents back and they claim they were put in the mail?? They make money off of home appraisals. Trust me, I know as I worked in a residential appraisal office! I would not even give them 1 star if I could. Horrible experience! Feel like I have been robbed of $585 for an appraisal I never received. Funny how convenient it is for Anthony Rios to say, "Oh, well the underwriters for your refi don't like what they see in your debt to income ratio" AFTER they have made their money off of my appraisal! TOTAL SCAM

  Never applied for a loan, continue to get calls after asking multiple times to be removed from the call list. When I ask to be removed Melissa gets confrontational and will not stop. I haven't done any business with them but never will just based on how they go about sales.

  I absolutely agree with everything others have written about this disastrous company. Total waste of time and appraisal money. It’s a scam for sure. I wish I had read the reviews ahead of time and feel horrible even clicking on the one star! I have even DocuSigned everything, and they disappeared!!!! Worst experience ever!
