      I had been doing business with fifth Third bank for many years, started with my mortgage loan and than personal bank. I didn’t have much problems with it. Staff had been very wonderful and very good costumer service. I recently moved to Ohio and for the first time I went to this bank to request for the bank statement. There were only two customers and waited for my turn. Soon the customer was done and went out . I went to the counter and the lady told me to sit and wait for someone to call me but never called me even for an hour. So I had to leave without their service. I had referred many friends and family to this bank in those many years. Recently I took my 85 years old parents to this bank in old Daily branch road and opened their joint account for their social security direct deposit. But in a few weeks or so, bank sent a letter stating that their account was closed, when they had already deposited some money into their account. They didn’t let my parents to have their account with this bank. It’s so terrible and I am not happy with this bank. When we call them they hesitate five specific reason for account cancellation.

      Terrible experience trying to refinance. In process for over a year and never was able to close. Switched to Huntington and we were refinanced within a month. Then to add insult to injury, as Huntington was paying off the mortgage it meant that we didn't have to make a payment for that month. Within a couple weeks 5th 3rd reported both my wife and I to credit bureaus which dropped our credit scores by nearly 100 points!! Even though our balance with them was entirely paid off! Our credit report states that we didn't pay off the entire balance of our loan, not that we just missed one payment. This bank is a joke and doesn't care about their customers.

      Fifth third is the worst bank I've ever used. It's been such a nightmare and I'm only dealing with this because my auto loan is through them. I'm literally trying to refinance after 2 months this just to get away from the horrendous issues I've had with accessing my account and just trying to make the past two payments. Worst banking experience in my life to date...that's saying a lot

      I called to make an appointment for branch supervisor. I was asked for my SSN number to schedule an appointment and I responded no. The employee hung up the phone on me. All I wanted was an appointment with the supervisor.

      We have been with 5th 3rd for years. This bank is wonderful. All the workers are so friendly. At times they will have a teller that I’ve never seen. They don’t know me so they will ask for ID or check things with a manager. That is totally expected. We have a personal banker Max Weston. He goes out of his way to make sure everything we need is taking care of. All the tellers are amazing. I recommend this bank to everyone I can. Please go to this bank you will not be sorry.       Terrible drawn out experience trying to refinance! Awful costumer service. Long time costumer will be taking business elsewhere. The mortgage loan originator that was in charge of the refinance seems that she doesn't want to do her job nor does she care!!!!

      We went into this branch to set up 2 accounts for my kids from an offer we received in the ValPak coupons. The manager, Sebastian, provided outstanding customer service and set up the account for us because the other bankers were busy. He was very efficient and friendly and we look forward to using this branch more.

      This bank is atrocious... A couple years ago, I was told by their manager that I could not deposit A check into mother’s account, even though I am her P.O.A. (and had the documentation to prove it); this manager would not even authenticate what I was telling her, she didn’t give it a thought; Just told me that it had not happened.. at that point I had been depositing checks into my mother’s account for the past 2 years; and have never had a problem until then, and haven’t had problems at any other location since…I then tried to contact their corporate offices which was pointless. I was soo upset by the behavior, of the management and corporate that I close my own account... More recently, I thought-” it has been a couple years, I’ll give them another try”. This past Saturday my wife, and I presented a check. To a teller who claimed that it was above her approval level, therefore she needed a manager’s approval. The teller proceeded to go into an office that we later learned no one was in, for a few minutes prior to her coming back and saying, “they were not able to verify funds” and she then flung the check at my wife and I... Our reply,” you can’t verify funds in a 5/3 bank on a 5/3 check”? She rudely replied,” you can wait to talk to the manager”. To make a long story short, the issue was finally sorted with one of the personal banker, I will never return to that bank. I would have given 0 star rating if i could....

      I absolutely hate Fifth Third. Their policy is awful. My husband and I put money in the bank to cover what was coming out and we still got charged two overdraft fees because apparently we put the money in too late. This has happened numerous times and they refused to fix it. Needless to say I will be finding a different bank.

      This branch has HORRIBLE customer service. The ladies that run the desk are wonderful but the bankers are completely inept.
