FBC Mortgage, LLC Reviews

Lauren Johnston1I’m a licensed realtor in Midland, TX. My team and I have been trying to get a home closed on the selling side for a month. FBC represents the buyer and has been super shady. Patty and her team ignore calls and emails, give unhelpful responses, and the customer service they are providing their client is embarrassing. It seems they don’t care that these are people’s biggest life investments on the line and instead of working as a team to get a loan closed they would rather hide behind their office doors. While Patti was off in Cancun, the buyer’s and seller’s are left back home wondering if this will ever finish. And this is not the only transaction where FBC has pulled these same shenanigans. There are multiple circumstances of the exact same nature. I highly recommend NOT using FBC mortgage.

Joaquin Abalos1This is the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of professional transaction in my life. We were set to close on our home 7/10/2020 and had provided all documents that were asked for. The day before closing they asked for additional paperwork which we supplied even though it was very las minute and then didn’t even tell us that we were not closing the next day even though they already knew it. My realtor filed for an extension when this happened from her own money. We had already given our earnest money for $1000.00 and paid for a termite inspection, appraisal, and survey. The communication was horrible couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone, text, or email. The only communication we would get is when they needed more documents. Fast forward to the 23rd of July and they asked us for another document and it was supposedly finally approved. They were suppose to send it to the title company and did not and we received a cancellation letter from the seller that evening. My realtor begged and pleaded with seller to honor the contract and were told No. This was mentally exhausting and my fiancé and I were done. We wound up going through a different lender and walked completely away from that house and found another one regardless of the money we have lost. We also found out later that there was some kind of buy out going on and we were just discarded to the side like we didn’t matter. I’m going to try and get reimbursed for the money we lost if someone will answer the phone, email, or text but I’m not going to hold my breath. They honestly made me feel like I didn’t deserve the house or they just didn’t want me to have it!! I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy!! No one should have to go through what we did!!
