  This bank takes care of its customers! Five years ago, I visited to have two savings bonds cashed out. The teller I worked with was astute enough to provide me with a photo copy of the bonds just in case they got lost along the way, which unfortunately did happen. Five years later, and almost five years after I stopped banking here, the staff spent time helping me track down these lost bonds and, when they couldn't turn up anything, provided me with the correct phone number to call at the treasury department. Everyone was just as helpful as when I was still a customer of theirs. Life circumstances have compelled me to bank elsewhere, but if you are looking for a bank that cares about its customers, this is 100% where you should put your money.

  Switched. back to Farmers State Bank of Hamel after 25 years of not being there for Keith in the business banking and all of his professionalism and quick replies! Would recommend this bank personally and professionally and he takes care of my whole family!

  Moving to the community, our “regular nationwide big bank” home mortgage department apparently didn’t need our business as they couldn’t get back to us. A friend suggested calling Farmers State Bank of Hamel. Rick was able to make room for us, and amid his schedule still made us feel like part of the community. His attention to detail and responsiveness was amazing! We just received a call, suggesting we look at our mortgage because the rates have dropped. By refinancing, we’re saving thousands over time because of his attention to his customers. We’re glad Farmers hires awesome people!

  Hands down, the best bank in the whole world. You cannot find better customer service anywhere. Everyone is so friendly and warm and they know you by name. They go out of their way to be extra helpful and accommodating too. That's just how it goes here in Hamel.

  Thank you for sponsoring a wonderful event. I plan to return. I especially like that you honored the veterans and thank you . Unfortunately the first thing we noticed when parking was the confecerate flags that one of the vendors was flying. Please remember that many of the veterans who gave their lives for our freedom are black as were many cowboys. The confederate flag is offensive. I sent reviews to both you and the rodeo organization requesting that you ban vendors from any displays of material that may be considered offensive. Thank you for your consideration. I know the confederate flag does not represent your community values .

  Worst costumer service! The most ridiculous fees. There are only 2 or 3 ladies here that are nice and friendly. The rest of them clearly hate their lives and take it out on their customers. I would not recommend this bank to anyone!!
