  From applying to closing in 22 days! That's a Rocket mortgage! I was referred to Erin after getting the bait and switch from another well advertised mortgage company. Erin saved us about $2100 over the other lender. Everyone I dealt with was friendly. Very pleased with Erin and Movement. If you don't want a run around, give Erin a call.

  We shopped around for different banks and companies to get our mortgage through, and Erin at Movement was by far the most willing to run all different kinds of scenarios for us. Not only that, but Movement had some of the best options for us as first-time home buyers and we deeply appreciated the company's model of giving to those in need. Erin and Sommer both guided us through the process with ease and we were able to close right on time due to their diligence and hard work. We *highly* recommend them!!

  *I do NOT recommend this company.* We have used Movement Mortgage twice, once for our primary mortgage and once to refinance a rental property. On our primary we were somewhat dismayed by the amount of incorrect information that had to be fixed multiple times. Their insistence on electronic signatures was coupled with the response that "this is just preliminary" and that corrections would be made for the final documents. So we followed their process and were ultimately satisfied that everything was done, but we did have to correct some final information with the bank that bought the mortgage because the "preliminary" information was not correct. They were very quick, and with the concept that they already had much of our information, we decided to use them again several months later for the refinance of a rental property. Every single item that needed correcting the first time was still wrong. (We got the same promise that all corrections would be made before the end.) The original estimate of $0 for closing with some cash back turned into nearly $3k at closing and no cash back. At this point backing out would have cost us almost as much as going forward. Signing those "preliminary" documents electronically had locked us into their process. Our information was never corrected and the closing could not be done at their office. So an independent notary who could not legally advise us, let us manually cross out and change a lot of things on the final documents that they simply never did get right. In the end, the refinance was completed, but not the way we wanted it. We again had to make multiple corrections with the company that purchased the mortgage because Movement never did. *I do NOT recommend this company.*

  I enjoyed working with Movement Mortgage. For me the best part was that I could send everything electronically and even sign documents. For someone busy that is convenient. The ladies are polite and quick to respond to emails.
