  I've been banking in Elga Credit Union since 2015. they are responsible for my 780 across the board credit scores will actually I'm responsible for that but they helped me by extending a $500 Elga Visa Platinum on secured line of credit at first and I'm on SSDI. I use the credit card responsibly for one year and they raise the limit to $1, 000. after another year they raised it another $500, they are an excellent place they're way better than banks Credit Union's offer things like free life insurance, very cheap life insurance, automatic discounts at motels, hotels, theme parks big ones like Disney whole vacation packages you can get your CDs and be eligible to win $5,000 each month at Elga it's unbelievable how much cooler a credit union is in a bank. If you accidentally overdraft by $0.02 you're not going to get charged $35 a day until you bring your account back to zero they'll just take the $0.02 out of your membership it cost $5 when you start up that you can never touch and a minimum of $25 to start a Kazaza checking account and savings account. If you are banking at another facility it would be totally worth it to switch to a credit union like Elga. You can get your home mortgage all your bills directly taken out so you don't have to go anywhere You can have the certain date that you want your bills paid You don't have to go get money orders or mail in checks matter of fact I don't even use checks checks are from the past If you are a Elga Perks member all cashiers checks and money orders are free not to mention roadside service, cellular phone insurance, identification theft insurance for up to $1 million including attorneys, and many other perks and it's only $6.95 a month automatically deducted on the last day of the month I've used it so much it covers flatbed towing I've had to pay as much as $49 when I accidentally lockedMy keys in the car when I had Elga perks I just made one call and they were out there within 15 minutes for free and had my car unlocked and ready to go It's really worth it Bank with Elga!

  Deposited a large check and they would not allow me to have access to it for to over 2 weeks. When I went in to talk to the manager at the center road location she grilled me for personal information on my finances and then did nothing to help. Controlling, manipulative, never again.

  Lexus in financing is always very rude with me, short and unwilling to give detailed information on loans and the way elga system works. She doesn't try to help the costumer only the company. She is very unprofessional and needs better people skills.

  *EDIT* Elga has post all of the "we are here for you post". Yet they don't reply. Two years in a row my tax refund was returned to the IRS. Elga made me wait 7 days to tell me this. I would just get the same old "we see it pending" speech. This is the only credit union I've had this issue with. I will be closing all of our business and personal accounts today.

  Elga credit union will be the WORST decision you’ll ever make. Especially the loan department. We’re in the middle of a pandemic and INSTEAD of helping people, they see that you’re down and want you to stay down. They are HORRIBLE people and I’m taking my business Elsewhere.
