      I called 3 times. Each call lasting around 30 min. After 30 min. of hearing how my call is very important, the phone rang and I was hung up on. I called Texas Trust. They answer the phone. Guess which one I'm doing business with?

      I have been having my accounts with EECU for many years. I have hardly had the need to go into the branch but I used to love it due to the “small bank friendly feel” well that is out the window... In my most recent visit I took some coins to exchange. The cashier that was helping me did not have access to the coin machine (she was very friendly) so she called someone else over with access. From the minute she came over to assist she already had an attitude; it was almost as if I was bothering her to assist me. Then the machine jammed again and she kept making comments such as “it jammed” “it’s not going to work anymore” and kept pushing buttons with an attitude.... After just three tries the machine started working again and she stood IN FRONT of me not letting me properly use the machine. Once it was done she herself asked me if I had any more coins. But since I did not want her to keep assisting me or wasting her time.... I told her that was it so she felt the need to finish the transaction for me. Once done I was waiting for her to move to take the rest of my coins that fall at the bottom and she YET AGAIN looked at me asking me what I needed with an attitude. It is ridiculous that I as a customer have to feel like an inconvenience for someone to help at their job. (Editing this review because my concern was taken seriously and addressed, I will continue to use this location.)

      EECU is an outstanding Credit Union! I have been a loyal member since 1986. The staff have always been friendly and helpful with many different financial transactions. My entire family have been doing business with the EECU for many years, and have always had a positive experience. Thank you, EECU!

      Please get a Bank close to Matlock some peoples don't have transportation and by it being a main drag this will be convenient too many let's do the dang thang EECU it's for your customers not mines! Have a Bless a safe Day ,Come into a agreement with your customers off of Matlock& I 20 please give it your Best shot lol....

      I am giving 2 stars to EECU, in all fairness, I have never set foot in this branch. I financed a car at a dealership and the loan was financed through EECU. I have another Credit Union so I thought everything would be Similar. WRONG! EECU does not make it easy to make payment. You can link external accounts but this gives full visibility of all of your finances. Yeah, right! I DON’T THINK SO! Or you can deposit money into the savings account that was setup (unbeknownst to me) .at the time the loan was set up. Lending institutions typically send out a coupon payment book and/or allow auto payment and payment through an APP. Since it seemed to me that I would have to make a deposit into the EECU savings account and make payment from there, I wrote a check payable to myself and did a mobile deposit through the App. (AAPs are supposed to simplify things right?) They put a 15 day hold on a local check Are you kidding me??? It cleared my bank in two days. EECU told me it’s because I’m a new customer (less than 30 days) Now my account is 45 -50 days old, they are still putting 2-4 day holds on my mobile deposits. (News flash this is the 21st century checks clear over night!!!) My other credit union MIGHT put a three day hold if the deposit is large, but most often they review my account and make the funds available immediately, worse case they will put a partial 3 day hold and the remainder is available immediately. As well, I actually belong to another credit union which is out of state. I have to use their mobile APP for all transactions or pay ATM fees, they NEVER put holds on my mobile deposits. EECU review and update your antiquated banking policies! I’m just sayin. When the loan was being setup at the dealership proof of insurance was verified, the lean clearly stated that the vehicle was insured by “******* ******” insurance company. I have it in writing in at least 2 places proving that the vehicle is insured and it meets the lean holders requirements. I received a bill in the mail stating that since I have not given proof of insurance they will provide insurance for me to the tune of roughly $120.00 a month. (I can’t prove it but it seems to me that the hope is that letter would be overlooked and the price of insurance would be built into the loan) I would NOT recommend EECU to anyone who is considering using them. I can’t wait until this loan is paid off or moved to another financial institution.

      I normally have great customer service experience but this morning customer service was horrible. I handled my business at the teller, no one greets me or reviews the transaction I submitted. When the teller was finished all he said was have a good day. If you didn't want to come to work then leave the attitude at the door before you enter your job.

      The dealership used them for my car loan. Things went bad from the beginning. An account was opened for me without my knowledge. Then when I went to pay on my loan, they made a cash advance on my credit card but failed to tell me that it would be a cash advance instead of a regular charge. I spoke to them about it and they stated that they would reverse the charge, however it’s still showing up on my credit card. Their system is slow and confusing. Setting up an online account took 2 acts of congress. It’s been 1 month and I’m already very frustrated with this bank.

      I've been very disappointed with this bank's customer service by the loan dept, it soo hard to get a call back or get an email answered and seems like the person i need to talk is always out of the office. i did bring my business to EECU from BBVA but it seems like you get what you pay for, slightly lower rate = bad service. Thinking about taking my loans somewhere else, will start looking soon

      I struggled with this whole issue of verifying my email so than I can transfer money from an outside account into this one. The website was very buggy and making this nearly impossible to do. My options were wait until I could move the money into my account or pay an $11 fee to use a debit card to pay my car loan. I opted to wait because I figured there would be no fee associated with paying my EECU car loan with my EECU chacking account. I was wrong. IT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE. That's right. $15 fee to pay my EECU car loan with my EECU account. I switched to this bank purely because of the car loan so you can imagine how cheated I feel. Stay with Carmax. Stay with Wells Fargo.
