  My Fiancé went to Educators credit union at 7139 N. Port Washington Road to apply for a personal Loan of $1600, he had a great credit score and was approved for the loan contingent on bringing her proof of income and 2019 and 2020 tax forms. He couldn't find his 2019 tax forms but provided everything that was asked of him. The loan person told him she couldn't get it approved until he provided 2019, at that time he asked me to come in with him to see if I could become a signer on the Loan with him because I had all my tax forms and I had more income. The loan person said all I needed to do was fax her two of my latest pay stubs which I did. The next day she called me to ask more questions, how long I have been on my job, where I worked, my social security number, where I lived., she said she would go through everything and get back with us. She called me back in about an hour and denied the loan because of something on my credit report, my Fiancé credit score is perfect and he can afford a $1600 loan, I think this is ridiculous and wrong. This particular branch of Educators is unfair and have Unconscious biases.

  Absolutely the worst phone system on the Planet Earth. No way to get to a representative! Absolutely hate it. Really thinking of moving account

  I called the call center and explained to the rep I needed to make a cash deposit but I don't drive and I'm unable to use drive-up services. She told me no problem and set up an appointment. Once I arrived I was greeted by a friendly banker who informed me that ECU actually doesn't offer lobby appointments for making deposits at this time and the appointment was listed as "opening a business account". I showed her my confirmation email and the staff member apologized for the mix up and took care of me in literally seconds. ECU should consider offering appointments for members who aren't able to use the drive thru. It was so quick and easy. She could've easily turned me away and I really appreciate her helping me safely deposit cash that I've been holding for months. Thank you sooooo much!! ❤

  You will never find a better credit union or bank better than these guys. Friendly and accommodating, not only is their staff great, but their online banking is great. It's easy to transfer from one account to the other. Even their change deposit machine is awesome. All you have to do is swipe your debit cards and the screen will ask you to if you want to deposit it into savings or checking. You don't even have to see a teller. The easiest experience I've ever had with banking. Plus, you can download an extract of all transactions for whatever time range you select. To pile on the awesomeness brigade, their mortgage rates are the best and they don't sell their loans.

  The gentleman Matthew Stringer, I think he's likeThe bank manager Or maybe he is the assistant manager, but he's is awesome! Always happy, always greeting everyone and had so much patience teaching me about how to navigate through the features of my account. He is such an asset to your branch !

  ECU in Glendale has the greatest staff. The staff is knowledgeable, super nice and always greets with a smile. I've been banking with ECU for 12 years and never had any issue ever. I ❤ you ECU.

  Still poor customer service. I closed my account 2 years ago, because of the check in system for seeing a banker. I would have to stand in line with other customers to get to the window to get on a list. I went in today to open an account, but didn't because they have yet to fix the problem of helping those wanting to see a banker. AGAIN, folks wanting to see a banker had to wait in a long line of customers who are doing regular banking to get to a teller to get on a list to see a banker. A two line wait is ridiculous. Fortunately, there is a lot of competing credit unions.

  Staff at the Prospect location (where I do my banking), is always pleasant, professional, and friendly. But they know the answer to any question you may ask them, And when they are unsure of that answer, they will hook you up with the person who can answer your question. Just a wonderful Credit Union with great people. That's all Folks!!

  I was charged 65 dollars in mailing fees because I moved and the address never updated. They received a forwarding address from the post office. They said they couldn't change it without my consent. Educators continued to mail my banking information to the wrong address even though they knew the address was wrong. No one called to correct this, and the charges kept piling up for a year until they finally stopped it.
