  -Translation into Spanish later- Edna Garcia is absolutely the best Mortgage Loan Originator you will ever work with, period! Here's why. (First off, my background is in Engineering / IT). We recently closed on our new construction home, but our research for a lender began back in 2020 (the home construction started in early 2021). We followed the recommended steps of getting quotes from three lenders, and were pre-approved by all three. We were able to compare the basics such as interest rates and closing costs, but we were looking for more than that. We needed the following 4 things: 1) a loan officer that had EXCELLENT and REGULAR communication via email, 2) a lender that practiced good security hygiene with our sensitive documents, 3) a lender that didn't suffer from understaffed offices and inexperienced employees , and 4) a lender with a proven track record of excellent customer service.
