      Foreign woman at desk always gives me a hard time because I have "see I.D." on my card, I give all my credentials and yet still an issue. Literally makes me not want to do any business here. ONLY HER, EVERY TIME!!!

      I worked with Megan Seaser (LOAN Officer). Megan made the whole process seamlessly easy and she was prompt in answering all the questions. I would definitely suggests DFCU for Low Mortage rates.

      Paid off auto loan and DFCU refuses to give me back my car title, stating that it will take 3 months and that they do not know where it is.

      Dover federal is one of the worst credit unions. I would not recommend anyone use them. I’ve encountered numerous issues with this institution from not having my gap insurance applied and no one in the office being able to direct me to the contact person to handle that. I recently encountered issues where I attempted to make an online payment and the payment was denied. I called to see what the issue was and was told it was due to my address. I stated that I moved; they told me I would need to come in and update my address. I traveled over an hour to update my address just to receive a phone call later that day that they were not able to update my address. My account is now pass due because they are struggling to handle the simple task of updating my account address. Many other institutions were able to update my address with no problem. Please reconsider applying here, take your business elsewhere where they have great communication and are skilled.

      Paid off a car loan in October 2020; 7 months later and I am still waiting for the overpayment funds to be sent. They don't respond to many request for assistance. Worst customer service I have experienced with a financial institution.

      They literally refused to add my wife to my account simply because I changed my Address and the addresses in our ID cards do match. It sounded to me like they were indirectly asking me to close my account for this reason. We had to open a new joint account with Wells Fargo.

      I just found out that for two years they have been charging me five dollars a month. When I opened this account all of my accounts should have been no fees. They could’ve prevented this by informing me to open one more account underneath of that account. But they neglected to do that so that they could take my money. Do Not use this bank they will rob you and won’t do anything about it.

      They have gone down hill and fast such a shame. New system is def not member friendly. I should be able to view pending transactions on my account that is a must for me. This new president and his super duper team need to find another credit union to mess up. I have been banking here over 10 years and worked there also and I can almost guarantee the older members are not fond of this system

      Son has had on going problems with his debit card not working. Drove all the way to New Castle to get a debit card. Made him wait FOREVER and then did not even activate the card in the system causing him to have to drive all the way back from Newark to get it fixed, not to mention the frustration and embarrassment when trying to use it!!
