  If I could rate zero stars I would. We sold our house and the buyers decided to go with DHI as their lender. Not only did DHI not get the lending documents in time for our scheduled close, they didn't even know what documents they needed to provide! Now, 4 days after the sale of our house we still don't have the proceeds or the payoff from DHI. Home buying and selling are some of the most stressful experiences, but they are compounded by incompetence and laziness one hundred fold by DHI. Do yourself and everyone you love a favor and steer clear of this company!

  Was told by the local branch manager that I would be able to recast the loan after I sold my old house. DHI Mortgage sold my loan in less than 30 days and the new loan servicer will not recast it. Now I have to waste thousands of dollars refinancing. Don't believe anything they tell you.

  Absolutely love DHI and the team there! I've been in the Home Buyers Club for about 6 months now and Jeff and Evelyn have helped me raise my credit score by over 104 points during that time. In less than half a year I went from virtually no credit to breaking ground on a house!

  Worst experience trying to buy a home. I was discriminated against and disrespected by DHI’s loan processor because I applied for VA. The processor refused to use VA and filed under FHA to try and earn a commission. I expect a much higher level of professionalism and expertise from a company who works with DR Horton!

  If only zero stars was an option. We had the absolute worst experience at closing with this company. And now a year later our bad luck returns. Come to find out they messed up our mortgage payments and we now owe thousands in back escrow. DO NOT USE THEM - you will literally pay for it later.
