  This bank is thirsty for money and will find a way to charge you for anything. I switched from Chase and this bank has been nothing but nightmares. They accepted a $400 withdrawal from a check that had no signature and wasn’t even filled out by me and then charged an overdraft fee (when I didn’t even write it out to begin with) and when I called to complain with Ester the manager the said it’s their discretion whether they will accept a check or not. A $400 check! — with no front signature! Ridiculous I will switch back to Chase and highly recommend that anyone looking to sign up for DCB to stop and consider other banks that are not thieves.

  Karin Truvlove an employee at Desert Community Bank on la Paz dr is Awesome. Very kind friendly and so knowledge. She makes the environment very comfortable. When it comes to banking checking savings loans etc she’s great. I would like to take this time to recognize this employee. Desert Community Bank another words “ Flagstar Bank” .   Stay far away from this bank they gave me illegible bank statements couldn’t even rent an apartment with them then the statement went up and down from dates they don’t know if it’s subtracting or adding I wouldn’t need to meet the bank manager because over $10,000 went missing from my account and she told me to hire an accountant and refused to help

  I have been with this bank for several years. With the merger to flagstar, service has significantly decreased. Every time I talk to a rep, over the phone with customer service, everyone tells me something different. Trying to call the branch is no good, as they admittedly do not answer phones. When my family member had an issue & left messages, there was no response. She is in the military and far from a flagstar branch, with NO access to her funds. When my husband tried to activate his bank card, he was unable. It took 6 phone calls to customer service, and a trip to an extremely packed bank, with very few tellers. A rep had to get a manager to get a temporary card, and issue a new card. Turns out the information needed to activate the card was incorrect on the bank's end, and couldn't be fixed over the phone as the service representatives assured us it was. What s disappointment this bank has turned into! Searching for a new bank.

  This is an amazing bank. They merged a couple months ago with Flagstar & it was a mess. But like anything, once you get away from a bad relationship, you need time to rebuild. The first few weeks after their merge it was packed in the office every time I came in, but the girls were extremely polite, even though they should’ve been frazzled. The phones were non-stop when I stood in line & there wasn’t a single person that wasn’t helping someone. I am so glad that they are NOT a part of East West Bank anymore. I couldn’t understand those people in their customer service and they were so rude, but I kept with them because of the people I see in my branch. Now I call customer service & their people are so friendly & nice & I can understand them!! I have been with DCB For over 20 years and would never change. Where else can you go that people know your name?

  I enjoy this branch. The representatives are friendly, warm, and professional. I'm a new customer but I like they care about my financial goals.

  We haven't been able to access or account since opening the account. We never have been able successfully to log in and have made 4-5 phone calls to extremely rude customer service people. They said we would get call backs no call backs. If we could rate no stars we would.
