There are a lot of choices out there and obtaining financing can be stressful. From start to finish (YES! I CLOSED ON MY HOUSE TODAY!!!)   I had been wanting a home for years for my family. Everyone I spoke to asked me what my credit score was and would tell me to come back once I've reached "a certain" credit score. Frustrated and feeling like I would never own a home, I stumbled onto a Facebook post that referenced Derek Hargrove. I spoke to the realtor about my struggles and he suggested I talk to Derek to help me get where I needed to be to own a home. I spoke to Derek many times and he helped guide me to improving my credit. Every instruction he gave me, I followed to a "T" and I did it immediately. Not once did I deviate.   Our family bought our first home a little over a year ago. Derek was great to work with. He’s a great communicator, sets the right expectations, and makes the process as easy as it can be. We ran into a couple of last-minute issues with our seller, which could have easily pushed back our closing date. Derek was able to clear through the issues, ultimately helping to close on time.

  I went with Derek to purchase my first house! we used VA financing which I have heard can be more complicated, but Derek made it a breeze! He got me an amazing interest rate with 0% down and we got the seller to pay for about 95% of the closing costs. I have been in my new home now for about 4 months and I still think it was one of the best decisions I have made. Go with Derek, you won't regret it!

I can honestly say that Derek and his team are one of the most professional and honest lenders you will ever come across. Derek did a loan for me for an investment property and not only were his rates and fees the best of all that I compared, but he even surprised me with a lower rate a week after I signed initial disclosures.
